Hi there,

Thank you for your correspondence. The phone is compatible to the Samsung New PC Studio software v1.5.1.10064_2. Apparently, Samsung Gravity® Touch (SGH-t669) doesn't have the features to sync the calendar to the computer. Only media files can sync on the Samsung New PC studio. However, this is not the dead end of the handset features, regarding with the issue, you can check on our website periodically for possible future updates of the handset, or also your service provider may possible notified you over the air for the updates and it will be prompted on the handset.

Question

Touch screen isn't working?

How do I manually restart my phone to factory settings to make sure that I didn't mess up anything myself. Touch screen has stopped responding, including the buttons on the right side (touch buttons). My keyboard and main button still work.

Question

USB data connection issue.

When I try to transfer files from my PC to my phone, using either "Mass Storage" or "PC Studio", everything looks OK. Both the PC and phone show the connection, but after the file has been transferring for a minute the PC says that the phone has been disconnected. The phone still indicates that it is connected. I also noticed that in "Mass Storage" mode the connection was painfully slow. It about 5 minutes for the device to appear in "My Computer" and another 5 minutes to open it.

Please try a soft reset.
1. Power off
2. Remove the battery and leave it out for at least 30 seconds
3. Insert battery back into device
4. Power back on and evaluate

To connect the phone to the computer and transfer files, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Are you referring to remote SIM mode?

This mode allows you to turn on or off Remote SIM Mode. Remote SIM mode, when set to On, allows the Bluetooth phone car kit to access the contact information stored on the SIM card.

1. From the Home screen, open the Widget bar then touch the Bluetooth widget.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch On or Off from the Remote SIM mode field.
4. Touch Save

Airplane mode allows you to use many of your phone’s features when you are in an airplane or in any other area where making or receiving calls or data is prohibited. When your phone is in Airplane mode, it cannot send or receive any calls or access online information. Touch On or Off in the Airplane mode field.

If you want to reconfigure the font size on the phone, open a text message>>Toggle Up or Down on the volume button until your preferred size on the font is showing.

Why can't I calibrate my phone?

I got to the calibration screen, but when i press the center of the target with the pen it turns red and does not do anything. This is a big problem because when I try to use the touch screen it does not respond the right way.

Here are the ways of how to transfer music from your pc to your phone.

Samsung's New PC Studio Software (NPS)

On your PC or laptop, launch Samsung's New PC Studio application
Connect the Gravity T to the computer using a supported USB data cable
If not already selected, in NPS click on the Media Manager
From the music library in NPS, right-click on a desired music track and select Send To Device > T669

download pc studio from this link:

You can transfer music via mass storage as well.

Ensure that a memory card has been installed before proceeding with this section.
Set the Gravity T's PC Connections setting accordingly:
From the Home screen, press Menu
Tap Settings > Phone Settings > PC Connections > Mass Storage
Connect the Gravity T to a PC or laptop using a supported USB data cable.
When the Removable Disk pop-up appears on PC, select "Open Folder To View Files" and then click OK
The next window will show the contents of the memory card installed in the Gravity T. This allows you to transfer audio files from your PC to the Gravity T, either through cut/copy and paste or drag and drop methods.

Note: i-tunes music is not supported with the Gravity® Touch (SGH-t669). You have to download a 3rd party file converter software to convert music to MP3 file format.

Regarding your concern, you may follow the steps below to use the phone lock feature of the phone.

From Menu Touch Settings
Select Phone settings
Select Security and select Lock Phone or Lock Applications

Note: "Lock Phone" will lock the whole phone and will need password to unlock while using the "Lock Application", will lock the messaging, Address Book, media files and other application on the phone but you can still make calls and receive calls.

Regarding about your concern, upon checking the specifications and settings on the Samsung Gravity® Touch (SGH-t669), the phone does not support the ability to communicate via Wi-Fi. It does not support Wi-Fi connectivity.

Question

The text tone on my Samsung Gravity T is pausing after a few seconds. I checked the sound file and it's fine until I set it as my text tone.

I've tried a soft reset, but that didn't change anything. It's not just with one file either, I've tried multiple mp3s and it does the same thing. It just started this two days ago and the phone is fairly new.

why wont my touch screen work?

whenever i go to messages and i try to scroll to inbox it wont let me click on it with my finger. it keeps either going past it or going back up. i have to use the arrows on the slide out keyboard to click on things but i cant just use those forever! i need to figure out how to fix my touch screen ! help! thank you

3. Replace battery

Go to your dealer and ask them. I have done that a few times because I am a skater and that does a lot of damage to phones. Usually they don't ask any questions or charge you anything =)
