Any capacitive stylus will work. Samsung sells one as well. Look in the accessories section of page for your phone on the samsung.com site.

Question

What can I do about my phone overheating?

I have had to return my Galaxy S2 to Best Buy due to the phone overheating while charging. It got so hot it was too hot to hold and it would not boot even after it cooled down. The phone was not being used at all besides charging. I read on several forums that overheating can become a bothersome issue with these phones. When I say it was hot, it was extremely hot to the point that I could not hold it in my hand. What can I do to ensure that this does not occur again?

HOW can I manually shut off the media scanning device ???

I have had this phone less then a month-I plugged it into my laptop for the first time last night to download the pictures I had taken-pics loaded and I unplugged device noticing the phone was very warm-shut it down to cool off and went to share the pictures-the people could not see them. only me-so I went into the camera on the phone and it would not let me-keeps saying media scan running-cannot get to pics because of it-and my battery is running down fast because of this-the phone continues to say media scan running and gets very warm-of course I powered the phone down and that didn't work-Should I return the phone or do you have a fix- Thanks, Barbara

You would either need to do a hard reset or a factory reset. Be careful because any unsaved data gets erased.

what is "elmagent" &"knox"

my s3 updated the other day and every since I cant do anything online. when search for something it will bring up all the different links just fine but once I click on any of them then a blank white page comes up and says loading but never loads not even after 20 minutes. it does the same thing in my email, fb and my nursing and medical sites. I am a pediatric homecare nurse and use my phone at work alot to get medical info and communicate with medical teams. please help fix this and explain if the elmagent and or knox are to blame. didnt have either prior to the update.
