I've timed it at less than 4 seconds to turn off and 5-6 seconds to turn on.

I would suggest resetting it. Look for the reset button on the bottom - push it in while pushing power to turn on.

Otherwise, call Samsung - hopefully still within warranty!

The Light color should be a White/Blue/Green when it is done Charging- if completely drained as this Status shows it may take up to 3-4 hr's to charge completely.

No. It’s not possible to install or run any other browser on a Chromebook, because you can’t run client software on it. The Chrome operating system runs Chrome only.

Anywall paper you desire can be applied to a chromebook. Also the chrome app store will let you apply themes to customize the chromebook.

I don't think there is much you can do. Most companies treat this as normal unless it reaches a certain number. I'm not sure what percentage Samsung deems dead before replacing it.

To access & test the speakers & video- go to Gmail, hopefully you have successfully signed in and already followed instructions on Start-Up the device to start using a Google Account? If not, none of these steps will help you. This device is made to be used with Google's Chrome Browser and Google features. Once all steps are taken and Account has been set up read and use these step's to verify and set-up www.google.com/support/chat/

you can 'install' games from the online chrome store

Hello, click on the "wrench" on the Top Right hand corner of you screen, select Settings, open options and System, Un-Check the Enable Accessibility Options. This allows Chrome & the Notebook to "read" text a loud or to do Search from Speech. This may have been accidentally enabled by yourself or a factory set feature? Just re-check if you decide to use it for either of the Options I've mentioned. BTW, you may have to restart the Notebook to complete this actions. Good Luck:)

What kind of games are you referring too? Like installing games from a CD or Steam??? This isn't the same as a PC for games... That isn't going to work..

But for Web based games - and many games from the Chrome Store - it works great!

Do you mean Arabic customer support? Or does the laptop support Arabic? I have the Arabic keyboard installed on mine and it's worked fine for me.

i had that same problem, under warranty i sent to their location in Texas and they fixed it.
