Question

Heavy Duty cycle time

I've noticed that when I run a Heavy Duty cycle, the estimated cycle time is around 1 hour 45 minutes, but then it changes to over 3 hours as the cycle runs. Is this normal? Do I need to request service?

If you think you need service then maybe, but ours does the same thing. I think the 1:45 is the default until it figures it out, then it updates to the real time. That's at least what I've found.

Can't get app in Playstore

Running Android 4.3, playstore says device not supported so I cannot install the app. It worked fine on 4.2.2

You should be able to do an Android OS upgrade and then it will work on 4.4.

Question

Power up

For some reason both the washer and dryer....at the same time take way too much time to power up. I press the power button and nothing happens. Hit it a few more times and it will eventually power up. Once it gets going all is well.

We will need to know how long it takes to power up when the power button is pressed just once. Also, are you getting any error codes on the washer and dryer?

Question

Slight vibration/resonance during spin cycle

I do not have an issue when the washer is in it's "full" spin cycle. The vibration only happens for a very short period of time when the spin cycle starts and the washer increases to its max RPM. I've verified that the machine is properly installed (it is *completely* balanced -- I cannot get it anymore level than it is). It is on a solid surface and the shipping bolts all have been removed.

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

I didn't know how to follow up to the posted answer, so I'm just creating a new post. Thanks for your response. I understand that a spin imbalance can extend cycle times, but my washer is exhibiting this behavior very early in the wash cycle, before the first spin even occurs.

Question

Bleach is not always dispensed

Hi,

I've followed the directions in the owner's manual for how to add bleach to a load of laundry. Often I find the bleach is still in the drawer after the load ends, even though the fabric softener (when I use it) has been dispensed. Is there something I need to set via the control panel to dispense bleach? I'm using HE-compatible bleach made specifically for front-loader washing machines.

Any help would be appreciated.

phone app shuts down when using

My galaxy s3 having difficulties building a list of devices.

My washer is a registered DEVICE under my account. I've downloaded the samsung washer app to my galaxy s3. when the app begins to build the list of devices it closes. I don't get a device list, instead the app closes. Please assist in providing a solution to this frustrating samsung experience...
