Thanks to Samsung's Vibration Reduction Technology (VRT), our washers, including the WF448, should not experience "extreme vibration". From your description, my first suggestion is to check whether the shipping bolts were removed during installation. Besides the removal of the shipping bolts, leveling the machine properly is also an important factor in enabling the VRT to be most effective. It's worth noting that a small amount of vibration during the initial stages of the spin cycle are normal, but should go away within a very short period of time.
Please review the installation instructions in the User Manual to determine whether they were followed properly. If you find that all of the set-up procedures were followed, and your WF448 still vibrates significantly, it may require service.
