Questions & Answers for samsung WF361BVBEWR/A2

Question

Stacking compatibility with dryers

I was wondering what dryers I can stack on top of this. Specifically I was wondering if it is only a select number that were manufactured to do so, or if most Samsung dryers will fit this washer? If I am going to replace my dryer sometime in the foreseeable future (1-2 years) will I still be able to find a model to stack, or do I need to find a model now?

All front loading washers use less water but have longer washing cycles. This helps cleaning clothing much better.

Thanks for the question. I'm not sure which dryer you're considering, but I can tell you that most current Samsung stackable dryers (including but not limited to the DV361) can be stacked on top of the WF361 washer using the SK-5A stacking kit accessory. If you'd like confirmation of a particular model or models, feel free to submit a new question with that information and we'll be happy to assist.

Question

New washer has strange smell

When I received the new washer, it had a strange smell coming from the tub area. Twice I ran the washer using the Pure Cycle but the smell remained. I've washed about six loads of laundry and the clothes do not have that smell but the washer still does.

What is the problem?

No need for a light inside the drum. Fully polished Stainless steel has enough reflectivity to let you see inside. Suggested that you spin drum by hand to be sure it's MT.

This washer has a water heater inside for Drum Cleaning, and on some models Steam wash. Most home water heaters are @ 130 degrees, During drum cleaning just makes the water hottest to eliminate mold and mildew.

Thank you for contacting Samsung.

According to our home appliance specialist, the heater only turns on during the Pure Cycle and Sanitize cycles. Since the unit is high efficiency, the heater activates when the water is not at least 60°F (since this temperature is required for the detergent to activate).

Thank you for contacting Samsung. Since Iron Out appears to act somewhat like a bleach, it would be safest to use it in the bleach compartment. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!
