Yes, the DV350AEW/XAA dryer can be stacked on top of the WF350ANW/XAA washer using the SK-5A stacking kit accessory. This kit is available at most major retailers that carry Samsung appliances, as well as through SamsungParts.com.

From my experience I would suggest you reduce the amount of "HE" detergent which will allow for the regular rinse cycle to work better . . . PLUS with the model WF350 you have the ability to run the load through a second rinse and spin. Actually, you could run it through as many rinse and spin cycles as you wanted without having to go through the entire "wash function" again. The "rinse and spin" on the model WF350, is a separate cycle all by itself.

Besides the WF350, which does indeed offer a "Rinse and Spin" cycle, most other Samsung washers also feature an "Extra Rinse" option which can be added to most preset cycles.

Question

Question about cycle time.

I just got a new WF350ANW. I noticed that the count down clock does not always count down smoothly. It some times jumps up and then counts down. For example I checked in on the washer when I thought it should be done but the clock said 8 while I was watching it the count jumped up to 16. I don't think this model looks at the water leaving the unit to see if it is clean and alters the cycle to use less energy. Am I wrong? Is there an explanation for this?

Samsung washers, including the WF350, displays estimated times based on preprogrammed cycle times, but then makes adjustments as necessary based on a number of factors, such as water pressure, size of load and need for additional rinses due to excessive suds. Having the cycle actually take longer than the initial time, or having the estimated time remaining change at different points in the cycle are not unusual.

Thank you for the question,

This is because the time remaining is estimated. Sometimes events occur to change the original estimation. Sometimes the laundry has to rebalance itself which can take time. Sometimes the unit takes longer to fill or to drain than usual. This is not abnormal and does not neccessarily indicate a problem

Like most front load washers, the door on the WF350 opens from right to left and cannot be reversed to open from left to right because of the location of the door lock. The dryer doors, however, are reversible.

Question

WF350ANW - is this normal?

I just purchased the WF350ANW today and have noticed that during washing, the clothes will spin one direction then stop and spin the other and I was wondering is this is normal operation and if so, what is it doing. Also I have noticed that the drum constantly looks like it is fighting to stay balanced, is this also normal? Thanks,

answer 1
It's normal for the drum to change direction at different points in the cycle. Depending on when it happens, it may be rebalancing the load or creating the necessary wash motion to clean the clothes.

If the drum appears "unbalanced" particularly during the initial phases of the spin cycle, but there is little or no vibration on the outside of the machine, this is normal. If the washer is vibrating during the spin cycle, and it doesn't correct itself automatically by the time it reaches Medium spin speed (or about 350-400 RPM), then it may not be properly leveled. Your load is probably unbalanced. Try either increasing the number of items in the load or make sure you have items of approximately the same weight in each load so it won't be unbalanced. It will keep trying to balance the load before it spins, and if it does spin it won't go at full speed.

It is balancing the load so it can spin. By turning in one direction, then the other it moves the clothes around, then it tries to spin. If it isn't balanced it does the turning thing again to move the clothes around, then tries again to spin.

Samsung does not recommend mixing detergent forms due to the possibility of clumping. However, if you're going to do so, I would suggest using different compartments, such as the pre-wash and main compartment; one for powder and one for liquid. In addition to the fact that the bleach and fabric softener compartments are for liquid forms only, they also dispense at different times in the cycle, and the fabric softener does not dispense until the final rinse. Please also check the directions on the detergent packaging to ensure it is being dispensed according to the prescribed guidelines.

Question

Is it normal for the drain pump to start and stop repeatedly?

When it comes time to drain the tub, the drain pump starts and shuts off a couple of seconds later, stays off for several seconds, then does it again. Eventually, it does run continuously, and the tub always drains completely. It just doesn't sound "normal".
