Like most front load washers, the door on the WF330ANB opens from right to left and cannot be reversed to open from left to right because of the location of the door lock. The dryer doors, however, are reversible.

Question

Poor laundry results: wrinkles

So far, we're not at all happy with the results of our new washer. Besides taking 4 times longer per load, clothing is extremely wrinkled. No troubleshooting tips in the manual on how to resolve, so should we assume this is the expected result from this high priced machine? Where can we find tips on how to improve the results, since there are none in the manual? WF330AN

I'm sorry to hear you're having these issues with your new washer. Please refer to the cycle chart in the back of your user manual for estimated cycle times. Actual times may vary somewhat depending on the size of the load, the supplied water pressure and temperature, selected options, type of detergent used, and whether the machine is properly leveled. However, if your wash times vary excessively from the estimated ones, please click on the following link for a how-to video on properly leveling the washer: http://support-us.samsung.com/spsn/...

If your clothes are coming out too wrinkled, you can try reducing the spin speed setting on the washer. The WF330, like other high efficiency front load washers, can spin at speeds 2-3 times those of traditional top loaders, helping to extract much more water from the clothes so they can spend less time in the dryer, which helps to save energy. Some fabrics, however, are better cared for by spinning at slower speeds.

I hope this information has helped address your concerns. If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to submit another question.

Thank you!

Question

How do you turn off the steam cleaning option at the end of every wash cycle for the WF330AN washer?

The steam is too hot for certain clothes such as hand wash cold only sweaters. And the steam turns on at the end of every cycle. It damages the clothes.

The WF330 does not have the Steam feature, and models that do have this feature should not automatically inject steam unless it is selected on the control panel. I would suggest checking the model number of your washer then referring to the cycle chart and control panel instructions in your user manual. If you don't have the manual handy, you can download a pdf copy from this website.

I'm sorry to hear you're getting an error on your washer. "Nf" is the No Fill error which could be caused by low water pressure or clogs in the water supply hoses or inlet screens. Please try cleaning the inlet hose screens, then make sure the hot and cold water valves are turned on all the way once the hoses are reconnected. Thank you for the question. It is normal for the water to be difficult to see given the low water use of front load washers as well as the fact that Samsung's drum tilts toward the back. Because of this, there is likely more water in your washer than you realize. To determine whether your WF330 is filling with the appropriate amount of water, please click on the following link, then select "Troubleshooting ► Water Related ► There is No Water Or Not Enough Water": http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...
This article also includes the troubleshooting tips for addressing a low-water level.

Samsung recommends following the detergent manufacturer's instructions for determining how much to add, especially since different HE formulations are available in different concentration levels (usually 2x or 3x) requiring different amounts. Some particularly heavy or absorbent items may benefit from selecting the Extra Rinse option or running a Rinse & Spin cycle.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue with your WF330ANB. If you've cleaned the debris filter and the 'nd' code is still displayed, try cycling the power to the washer by unplugging it or turning the circuit breaker off then on again. If the code persists, your washer will likely require service. It's not unusual to have a small amount of water remaining in the detergent drawer at the end of the cycle. However, more than a small amount may indicate that the washer is not properly leveled, and is leaning forward somewhat. I would suggest using a carpenter's level to check both front to back and side to side leveling, ensuring that the bubble on the level is perfectly centered. Run a Rinse and Spin cycle to determine if there is any vibration, then fine-tune the adjustment to ensure all four feet are firmly planted on the floor to minimize any vibration. Once the leveling is complete, be sure to screw the plastic leg locks into place as far up as they'll go so the legs don't become loose and change their position over time.

I'm sorry to hear your clothes don't smell good. Since odor is caused by bacteria introduced to the washer from clothing and the water supply, cleaning the washer regularly is an important part of ensuring fresh smelling clothes. The one step you didn't mention (though perhaps you have done it) is cleaning the debris filter, since bacteria can get trapped there, as well. Please click here to view a short video on cleaning the filter: http://support-us.samsung.com/spsn/...

In addition, it may be helpful to adjust the amount of detergent you're using, the size of the load you're washing and the cycles and options you're selecting to maximize the effectiveness of the washer.

Answer this Question

answer 1
If the fabric softener remains in the dispenser at the end of the wash cycle, it is likely that either:
- the dispenser drawer is clogged;
- the water is not reaching the compartment with enough pressure to flush the softener out;
- the washer is not level.

Try removing the drawer and rinsing it thoroughly with warm water to remove all detergent residue. Next, place a carpenter's level on top of the washing machine, checking both front to back and side to side leveling. If the washer is leaning forward, it may prevent the drawer from draining properly. Adjust the leveling legs as necessary, running a test "Rinse and Spin" cycle before tightening the leg locks to be sure all four feet are firmly planted on the floor to prevent vibration. Finally, clean the inlet water hose filter screens and make sure the water valves are turned back on all the way.

If the problem still persists, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you further and schedule service if necessary.

To reinstall the shipping bolts, insert each in one of the four holes in the back of the washer that aligns with a corresponding hole in the outer shell of the wash drum. The bolts should screw back into the holes to hold the wash drum in place. If you have difficulty aligning the bolts with the holes, you can remove the washer lid by unscrewing the 2-4 screws holding it in place at the back edge of the lid.

If you need a new set of shipping bolts, please visit SamsungParts.com.

I'm sorry to hear your clothes are coming out wrinkled. I would suggest you try reducing the spin speed for wash cycles that contain the polyester or other clothes that tend to hold wrinkles despite the time in the dryer. The high spin speeds on Samsung's front load washers, which may be as much as two or three times faster than many traditional top loaders, may cause some items to come out of the washer with wrinkles "pressed" into them. While this helps to reduce energy use by making it possible for the nearly-dry clothes to spend less time in the dryer, some types of fabrics may benefit from a low or medium spin speed instead.

Thanks for the question,
