Water remaining in the fabric softener compartment at the end of the cycle is usually caused by either the dispenser being clogged, or the washer not being levelled properly. I'm sorry to hear you're having a problem with your WF306LAW. The error code "nf" indicates your washer was unable to fill with water successfully, which has several possible causes. Please try the following:
- Make sure the water faucets are open all the way, and the home's water pressure meets the specified 20-120 psi.
- Check for kinked hoses.
- Check inlet screens on fill hoses for blockage.

If, after trying the above suggestions, you continue to experience this issue, your washer may require service. To initiate service through Samsung, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

The SilverCare™ kit in your WF306 should last for 3000 cycles. You can find the number of times you used the SilverCare™ option by pressing the Signal and SilverCare™ buttons on the control panel. Here are the possible codes:

LU3 : less than 1000 times
LU2 : between 1000 to 2000 times
LU1 : between 2000 to 2999 times
LU0 : over 2999 times

You should replace the SilverCare™ kit when it displays “LU0”. Please contact 800-SAMSUNG for assistance replacing the kit.

Thank you for the question. "SUDS" displayed on the control panel is an indication that your WF306 has detected an oversudsing condition and will stop for a short period to allow the suds to dissipate. This is usually caused by too much detergent or the use of non-HE detergent, and is not an indication of a malfunction in the machine itself.

For a more detailed explanation, please click on the link then select "Error Codes" > "The Display reads SUDS": http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...

Over time, you may find that items that were washed with too much detergent, or the wrong kind of detergent, may have some soap residue building up which can lead to dinginess or continued oversudsing when re-washed. To determine if this is the situation in your case, try running a load of laundry on the Rinse & Spin setting without adding detergent. If any suds develop, you may want to reduce the amount or change the type of detergent you're using.

If your WF306LAW is draining properly, then the pump is working. If the washer is not draining, then there are several other items to check before requesting service to assess whether the drain pump needs repair or something else. Items to check yourself include the position of the drain hose, and whether there appear to be any clogs in the drain hose or pipe.

For further assistance, I would suggest reviewing the troubleshooting tips in the user manual or on this website, or calling 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to help. For information and availability of parts for your WF306LAW washer, please visit SamsungParts.com.

How to get rid of moldy smell and modly speck in the washer?

Answer this Question

answer 1
I'm sorry to hear you have a moldy smell in your WF306LAW. This odor is caused by bacteria that is introduced to the washing machine from the water supply, dirty laundry and other environmental factors, and can get trapped in soap residue on the outside of the drum and in the gaskets and dispenser. Besides the standard maintenance procedures recommended for most front load washers, which include running empty hot water cycles with bleach, wiping down the gaskets and door between loads, cleaning the soap dispenser regularly, and leaving the door open between loads, it is very important to use only the recommended amount of HE detergent. In addition, Samsung has developed other options for treating this issue.

The WF306LAW is equipped with SilverCare, an option that can be added to most cycles simply by pressing the SilverCare button at the start of the cycle. SilverCare can be used in any temperature water and is safe for colors and delicates. This feature releases silver ions which are highly effective in eliminating 99.99% of bacteria. If you've been using SilverCare regularly, then it may be necessary to have the SilverCare kit replaced in your washer; Samsung recommends having a qualified technician replace the kit. Please refer to page C-5 of the user manual for instructions to determine whether the SilverCare kit should be replaced.

To treat the odor that has already developed, I would suggest cleaning your washer thoroughly by wiping it down with a bleach solution, then adding SilverCare to your regular laundry routine moving forward - using it at least twice a week to remove the odor causing bacteria from both the washer and your clothes.

Question

Samsung model WF306LAW doesn't dispense softener.

No water enters the softener dispenser and softener remains in the tray. Rinse water does flow into the tub thru the detergent dispenser section of the tray, but no water into the softener dispenser. I've removed and cleaned the entire dispenser unit. There are only 3 water inlets into the dispenser: main hot, main cold and bleach. Everything works but the softener water. Help please?

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your WF306LAW. In addition to washing out the dispenser tray, try cleaning the inlet hose screens on the back of the washer to ensure the water flow is not restricted, preventing water from getting to the tray with ample pressure to flush the softener through. If this still does not help to resolve the issue, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

I'm sorry to hear your WF306 does not fit in your new space. Like most front load washers, the door on the WF306 opens from right to left and cannot be reversed to open from left to right because of the location of the door lock. The dryer doors, however, are reversible. Instructions to reverse the dryer door can be found in the User Manual, which can be downloaded from this website for your convenience.

We have a samsung silver care wf3-6law/xaa washer machine wont drain. I took the pump out and there was a tooth pick in it. I cleaned it out. During our test run of the washer, it does not drain water. In the beginning (before filling up with water) the drum spun fine, now it does not move. We get a code 'nd', for not draining. I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue with your WF306LAW. There are several possible causes of water spilling from the detergent drawer. Please follow the link below to the troubleshooting guide, then select "Operation ► Water Is Left In The Detergent Drawer": http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...

It is not likely that the machine is sending too much water through the drawer, since it should flush right through, so the key is determining what is preventing it from flushing through. It could be blockage caused by a buildup of detergent, perhaps the drawer is not closing completely or correctly, or the machine may be tilted forward.

If, after reviewing the article in the troubleshooting guide you are unable to resolve the issue, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.
