I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue with your WF209ANW. Troubleshooting options for the nF (No Fill) error code include checking the faucets to make sure they're turned on all the way, checking the hoses to make sure there are no bends or kinks obstructing water flow, and checking the inlet water hose screens on the back of the washer for debris. If you've checked each of these possibilities and the error code returns, your washer will require service. To initiate service through Samsung, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

Question

It's stuck in the spin cycle!!!

I just bought the washer and it bangs and bangs and bangs. I've taken the very damp towels out and I'm trying to dry them while I let the washer go through its cycle. This is infuriating. How do i make it stop?

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. The first thing I would check given the noise you describe is whether all four shipping bolts were removed from the back of the washer prior to using it. If the shipping bolts were removed, then the next most important factor that could allow the washer to make so much noise is the leveling.

Please click on this link for installation instructions, including removing shipping bolts and properly leveling the washer, as well as other helpful troubleshooting tips: http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...

If, after reviewing these instructions and tips, you continue to have this issue, please contact Samsung for service by submitting an online service request through the link below, or calling 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you.

This code indicates that the door is open while the washer is running. If you're unable to close the door, try pressing the Start/Pause button and, if necessary, turn the washer off then cycle the power to the washer by unplugging it or turning the circuit breaker off for about 30 seconds. If the door mechanism doesn't unlock automatically when you power it back on, try pressing the Start/Pause button again. If it still won't unlock and allow you to close the door all the way, service may be needed. To initiate service through Samsung, please submit your contact information to our support team through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

A high pitched whiny sound is usually caused by restricted water flow. I would suggest turning off the water valves and disconnecting the supply hoses to check for debris either in the hoses themselves or in the inlet hose screens on the back of the washer. Remove the screens and clean them thoroughly, then replace them and the hoses, and turn the supply valves back on all the way.

I hope this helps!

If the door lock is engaged and the door on your washer is open, try pressing the Start/Pause button. If it doesn't unlock, try powering the washer off then back on again. If it still doesn't unlock, try cycling the power to the washer by unplugging it for a minute then plugging it back in, or turning the circuit breaker off then on again. Power the washer on, and press the Start/Pause button again, if necessary. If it is still locked, the washer may require service. I'm sorry to hear there is bleach left in the lines after your wash load. I would suggest adding an Extra Rinse to your bleach wash load or running a Rinse & Spin cycle in between loads to ensure there is no bleach remaining in the washer or the dispenser lines.

Thank you for the question. It isn't unusual for some water to remain in the debris filter housing, since it is part of the drainage system of the washer. This water is necessary to maintain an air tight seal leading to the drain pipe and prevent odors from flowing back into the washer. If there were an issue with water not draining properly, your washer would display an "nd" error on the control panel.

If the fabric softener remains in the dispenser at the end of the wash cycle, it is likely that either:
- the dispenser drawer is clogged;
- the water is not reaching the compartment with enough pressure to flush the softener out;
- the washer is not level.

Try removing the drawer and rinsing it thoroughly with warm water to remove all detergent residue. Next, place a carpenter's level on top of the washing machine, checking both front to back and side to side leveling. If the washer is leaning forward, it may prevent the drawer from draining properly. Adjust the leveling legs as necessary, running a test "spin only" cycle before tightening the leg locks to be sure all four feet are firmly planted on the floor to prevent vibration. Finally, clean the inlet water hose filter screens and make sure the water valves are turned back on all the way.

If the problem still persists, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can assist you further and schedule service if necessary.

I'm sorry to hear there is a lingering odor in your laundry. This odor is caused by bacteria that is introduced to the washing machine from the water supply, dirty laundry and other environmental factors, and can get trapped in soap residue on the outside of the drum, as well as in the gaskets and dispenser. To effectively remove bacteria from clothes, it would be necessary to sanitize them, which would require bleach since the WF209 does not have a sanitize cycle.

To help remove this odor from the washer, Samsung recommends following the standard maintenance procedures recommended for most front load washers, which include running empty hot wash cycles with bleach, wiping down the gaskets and door between loads, cleaning the soap dispenser regularly, and leaving the door open between loads. In addition, it is very important to use only the recommended amount of HE detergent to help reduce the residue that can trap the bacteria that can lead to these odors.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue with your WF209 washer. There is nothing in the washer itself that should cause items to turn brown, so I would suggest checking the water inlet hoses and screens, as well as the gaskets and debris filter, in search of any items that could be causing this discoloration. If you don't find anything in the washer, try disconnecting the hoses from the washer, and discharging a small amount of water into a separate container to see if it is clear. If the water entering the machine is clean, there is no debris in the inlet screens on the back of the washer, and you don't find any foreign items in the washer, then please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will try to assist you further in finding a solution.

The "nd" error code on your WF209 means that your washer is not draining properly, or it may sense a small clog while draining. Please turn the washer off and check the debris filter located through the front access panel of the machine. Please follow this link for instructions, which include draining the water through the accompanying drain tube first: http://ars.samsung.com/customer/usa...

If the error code returns after you've checked the debris filter and powered the unit back on, it will require service. To initiate service through Samsung, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. Please make sure the door is closed and latched completely. If the door is not closed properly, the dryer will not run. The WF209ANW requires a 120V/60 Hz/15 amp power supply. I would suggest contacting an electrician in India to determine if there is a way of converting the power supply appropriately. It's also important to note that Samsung's warranty will not provide coverage outside of the country.
