audio volume does not go loud enough

self audio test works great, but I have to go to max volume on the tv and sound bar and sit close to hear it.

Thank you for contacting Samsung. Please disconnect the sound bar and check the sound levels. If the sound levels are fine, then the problem is with your sound bar since the TV outputs a fixed audio level. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!

Question

Display Resolution 1080 with PS3 Gaming console system.

I got a Sony Playstation 3 160GB not slim (Model CECHP01) with tha lestest firmware update. I am using a Rocketfish HDMI cable, but is only works a 480p, doesn't work at 1080p,1080i or 720p. I triedn with another brand of cable Monster HDMI and got the same results. Both cables are 1080p capable. I tested the gaming system with other LCD TV and it works at least at 1080i. I updated the TV with latest system update, but nothing. I restored to Default Settings both Devices (TV and PS3) I am using an AppleTV which works at 720p and it's functioning as designed. Is there any way to release a new firmware which the SmartTV can support PS3 systems? Or there is another workaround ?

We recommended you check to make sure your TV has the latest firmware. Our research indicates a firmware update (1026.1) was released on 1/28/2013.

Question

why can i not connect to my internet

everything was fine until a few days ago
my apps were deleting and now i have no internet connection
i tried to set up automatically but the system won't connect
says i need ip address, submask, and gateway are all showing blank
i tried unpluging but that didn't work either.
how do i reset

Question

Is there any way to assign an APP as shortcut on remote?

For example, getting into app....Need to go through SMART Hub and click on APP.
Instead of going that, is there any way to use exisiting button (for example Family story - which I am not going to use) for another app.
I would like to have Netflix or YuppTV APP as shortcut from remote.

Connect to VESA Mount?

I have a VESA mount that is strong enough to hold this TV (TV is 50 lbs without stand, mount can hold 66).

Can this TV be connected to a VESA bracket (has holes at 100x100mm to 200x300mm)?

Yes this TV is compatible with a VESA bracket. For a VESA mount to be compatible with this size TV the bracket holes have to be 400mm X 400mm

Question

YouTube app out of sync

The YouTube app starts playing fine, but within a couple of minutes will have the audio freeze while the video continues to play, then the audio will return and then the video will freeze. The problem then continues with either freezing issue switching back and forth. Seems like a buffering issue. I am on the latest 1034 firmware and have the Tv hooked into fast broadband service (not on Wifi).

Samsung 60" 7100 series TV with a Sony HT-CT660 sound bar not functioning using ARC.

I have a Samsung 60" 7100 series TV with a Sony HT-CT660 sound bar. I have tried to hook up my sound bar to spidif (optical) that works just fine. I now have that cable hooked up to my main amp so that I can have movies from the Samsung in full surround and I do not want to run my main amp all the time. I have an analog cable currently hooked up to the sound bar. I tried to be adventurous and hook up the HDMI port 2 ARC on the TV to the output on the sound bar that supports ARC. Unfortunately I have yet to get it to work. I can adjust the volume using the Anynet sound system on the TV and it adjusts the volume on the amp unfortunately I get no sound. The HDMI cable has been changed out multiple times. I am about to see if I can find an optical splitter to make both work. Any suggestions on making ARC would be helpful.
