Question

Volume control

I moved Sony to bedroom and put the new Samsung UN55ES6500 in living room connecting to my existing Kenwood Sound system. I can not get the TV Volume output to control the volume on my system. It is fixed; does not work with any output even the optical. The sound delay setup helps but would rather shut the internal speakers off but when I do that then have no sound adjustment on TV. I do not want to use the Kenwood amp to control volume just the TV. Have not found the setup that allows this to work correctly.

This will depend on what you are using on your TV, for optimal quality you'll need an HDMI cable from anything that you are using (plugged into) your TV to get that 1080p.

If you're more specific I will help you on that question also.

Using the directional buttons on the TV remote, highlight the app you want to delete (there will be a white ring around the selected app), press the TOOLS button and then tab down to the 'Delete' entry and press the center button. You'll get a popup that asks to confirm deletion as it will be removed from your linked Samsung account. Select 'Yes' to remove it or 'No' if you change your mind.

We're sorry to hear that your 2012 LED is not yet on the list of compatible models that can support this app. At this time, we do not have a known release date for this app, but we can only assume it will be available soon given how new your HDTV is. You can refer to the following page to see when your HDTV might be added to the list.

Thank you for contacting Samsung. Starting from the frequency, your TV actually have a Clear Motion Rate of 480. Your TV, however, is incapable of receiving a signal at anything other than 60Hz. The difference is made up in the processing of the TV.

Regarding the little dial in the bottom right, it's giving you info about your TV.

Regarding the removing apps, you can only remove apps you've added to the TV. We apologize for the inconvenience. You can remove them by highlighting the app you want to delete and then press the 'Tools' button and then use the arrow buttons to navigate down to delete.

We're sorry you're encountering this issue with your Samsung device.

In order to access Netflix Canada, you'll need to change the country code on your HDTV via Smart Hub. Click the Smart Hub button on your remote. Once it is open, press the following keys on your remote: FF > 2-8-9 > RW. This will bring up a list of countries. Select Canada from the list. You should be aware that changing the country code will delete all downloaded apps and that it will automatically download the default apps for the Canadian version. Not all apps that are available in the U.S. hub will be available for download via the Canadian hub.

What changes were made to allshare?

I see Allshare is now called Samsung Link, I notice that when playing music with Samsung Link it no longer displays the year of the playing track. It only shows "No Date". Is this going to be fixed?
