Great question! The answer is not easy. If you have a Cable Box input, the CC can be disabled in the
Cable service menu. As far as using the TV remote to toggle CC, you need to ask a very high level Samsung expert. Good luck!

Great question! One answer might be, if you have a cable connection, to disable CC in the cable menu.
There's a detailed procedure describing how to do that in another post that I answered.
p.s. I'm still trying waiting for an answer to my question of how to get CC to work from a VCR player.

Due to some manufacturers using different codes for their IR remotes, Samsung does not offer universal codes or support for these remotes. In order to find out your remote’s code for our Samsung TVs, it is best that you contact your remotes manufacturer for further details.

From the available information, the blinking you are seeing is actually the Netflix application readjusting the resolution as your connection speed changes. Unfortunately, since this is caused by Netflix's own app, I currently do not have any information as to when this feature may be removed from the app.

I recently hooked up the internet on this tv and was having this same issue. I was using the wireless LAN adapter. Initially, I launched Netflix and began to stream a movie and received the blackouts every 10 seconds. I closed the app and upgraded the TV's firmware (Ver.1026.0 rel. 01/03/2012). Upon launching Netflix again, Netflix was also upgraded to a new version. I have a dual band router so I also switched the WLAN connection from 2.4ghz to 5. The blackouts no longer appear. If you have the option to hard wire the LAN connection, performance may improve as well.

Question

TV will not accept Security Key for wireless connection.

I get to Wireless (General) it finds our Network name, I hit enter and it asks for Security key. I enter our Security Key word, it looks for the connection, dosen't find it and pops up with a box that says I should unplug/plug the wireless modem and try again. After 3 or 4 attempts still nothing but what it does is disconnect the Wireless unit (D-Link DIR 615) and I have to unplug the power, wait a bit and plug it back in and that brings the Wireless unit back up. I know the TV's Wireless connection attempt disconnects the Wireless unit because a Laptop, 20 feet away stops working and the Wireless connection to that has never been a problem.
Thanks

With HDMI cables, it would be rather easy to connect all of your components together. Although I do not know what exact components you are trying to connect or what inputs/outputs these components offer, I can say that as long as you connect all of the HDMI outputs on your set top boxes to the HDMI inputs on the TV or sound system ( If using a sound system that offers HDMI inputs, please connect the sound system's HDMI output to the TV's HDMI input after connecting all of your devices to the sound system. Which device you plug into depends on how you want to set your entertainment system up) you should have a working entertainment setup. I highly recommend either writing in with more detail on your current setup (please include any inputs and outputs the devices offer) or you can contact 800-SAMSUNG for live assistance.

I’m sorry for the confusion. At this time, none of the 2011 Samsung Smart TVs will offer the Amazon VoD service. Since each application is developed by the company that will be supplying the content to the application, Samsung does not have any information or timelines as to when the said application will become available.
