Calibration is not really necessary, but it really is up to you whether you want it calibrated or not. You can perform a low level calibration your self by just setting the picture settings the way you want them, or you can have it professionally calibrated. Again, its up to you.

Although I do not know what connections are available on your device, I can assume that it uses the generic audio connections. You will either be able to connect the audio to the device via an RCA red/white cable or an optical cable. Please note: for better audio quality, please connect your other devices to your sound system if you have the connections available. The audio output on the Samsung TVs only output in 2.1 surround sound.

You will want to head into the unit's menu. Then into the Picture sub-menu, where you will find the Picture Options tab. Click into that and you will see an adjustment called "Size". This adjustment will give you options for the size of the image on the screen.

I feel that this screen is close to being in between, leaning a little towards the shiny side. I have 2 walls of all windows in my TV, but do not notice the reflections like I did with my previous plasma TV, which had a very shiny screen. I can see bright objects such as sun reflections or headlights, but do not see any other reflections when watching the TV.

Question

How do you loop or indefinitely repeat media from a USB drive or the file in the LED TV?

We have a 1080 LED HDTV on our job and have slide show movies to display at events which are stored on a USB drive or downloaded into the LED TV's hard drive. We would like the movie to loop or repeat indefinitely through the evening from beginning to end, but it doesn't see to do that when we play it from the USB drive or from the memory.

Although the B6000 can connect to the internet to receive internet content via Infolink (Infolink allows you to view certain RSS feeds which give you access to up-to-the-minute weather, news, sports and stocks information from the internet on your TV), it does not have DLNA functionality. For a unit that does offer DLNA, please take a look at the B7000 and higher models.

Question

With the factory settings, there is a lot of light bleeding with dark backgrounds, is this normal?

I've tried altering the backlight setting, but it makes the picture quite dull. The factory default has the backlight setting to max (10), but when showing dark backgrounds (i.e. night scenes), the background is very blotchy and uneven.

If you purchase the unit within the North American Territories, it will only have support for NTSC/ATSC/QAM broadcasting systems and only 100v-127v 60Hz power. Outside of the NA territories you will not only need a converter for the broadcast, but also for the power.
