Thank you for contacting Samsung.

Only the ES6500 series and higher have built-in Bluetooth that will allow you to use the Samsung VG-KBD1500 wireless keyboard, but you could try a USB wireless keyboard. It would need to be HID (human interface device) compliant.

Question

NetFlix not working anymore

Netflix was working fine on my TV until a couple of days ago.
It now always fail to connect to Netflix and it even freeze the TV. I have to unplug it to solve the issue.

I haven't done any modification to my setup in the meantime.
I therefore assume that it is a software upgrade issue or a backend system issue.
Netflix app is in version 3.1xxx

My home network is working fine, I can access other APP from SmartHub. Netflix is working fine on my computer.

Please help
Thanks

One other thing you can try is to open Smart Hub and click Tools > Settings > About Smart Hub > Detail. Check to see if you have a Netflix ESN. If it says "Not Support" you can reset Smart Hub by clicking Tools > Settings > Reset. This will reset Smart Hub only and not your entire TV.

Thank you for contacting Samsung.

We recommend you consider performing a factory reset of your TV.

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/SupportOwnersFAQPopup.do?faq_id=FAQ00046660&fm_seq=49625

Once the factory reset is complete and you have re-configured your TV on your home network, we recommend you check for and apply any firmware updates prior to re-configuring Smart Hub. The latest firmware update was released on 7/9/2012.

Question

Netflix asking to log in every time.

I recently updated my smart hub a few days ago. After the update, applications such as Netflix and Youtube requires me to log back in every time I use it.

According to Netflix this is due to samsung issuing the same esn to other devices.

I only had this problem after updating firmware. I have already reset the smart hub. Problem still exist.

Same problem with same model; did factory reset, reinstalled netflix, opened ticket with samsung on phone and was told a fix would be available in 2 weeks (that was 2 weeks ago); attempted online support and was told they did not know why this is happening.

Comeon samsung, this worked FINE before the latest firmware update. Please RELEASE a fix for this. We do not want to have to enter netflix password every time.

Question

Is there a timeline for adding support for HBO Go to the 2012 TV models?

I was a little disappointed to see that the app is not supported on my brand new 6100. Is there a ETA on when support will be added to the 2012 model TVs? This was one of the big reasons I purchased a Samsung.

Thank you for contacting Samsung.

We apologize for not contacting you sooner regarding your concerns. A firmware update for this HDTV was released on 5/15/2012. We recommend you update when you have a chance using the guide below if you've never completed this process before.

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/supportOwnersHowToGuidePopup.do?howto_guide_seq=2157&prd_ia_cd=N0000058&map_seq=37536

Also, have you attempted a factory reset of your device? Given that you're encountering issues with both the Netflix app and connecting to the app store, a factory reset will help you isolate any unknown issues.

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/supportOwnersHowToGuidePopup.do?howto_guide_seq=5306&howto_guide_step_no=2&prd_ia_cd=N0000058&map_seq=31175&regDt=&model_name=&type_ia_cd=&page_gb=M&subtype_ia_cd=&row_index=&rel_cont

If the issue persists after you've attempted both suggested resolutions, please contact us via the link below.

Thank you for contacting Samsung.

This TV is 120Hz. All TVs in the U.S. function off 120V @ 60Hz, which is the standard power supply in the U.S. You'll see this printed on just about anything electrical you plug into the wall, so that's where some confusion comes into play.

If you have any additional questions, we suggest your refer to your product manual or the product support page on our website, where you'll find a comprehensive troubleshooting guide, product support videos, FAQs and How-Tos, as well as manual, software, firmware & environment downloads.

Thank you for contacting Samsung.

Without knowing the specific models of the various devices you have specified, we can only confirm that the remote that came with your TV will allow you to control a STB (set-top box)/cable box as well as your TV.

http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_troubleshooting_fr.jsp?idx=409510&modelname=UN46ES6100F

We have also confirmed with our resident home theater expert that the remotes that come with Samsung Blu-ray players are not universal remotes. Therefore, we encourage you to review the user manual that came with the Samsung cable box or call your cable provider to find out if the model you have is universal.

There are 3 7-inch tablet models. According to our resident tablet expert, the only model that offers a physical connection to a TV via a HDMI adapter (sold separately via the Accessories page) is the GT-P6210.
