Only the ES6500 series and higher have built-in Bluetooth that will allow you to use the Samsung VG-KBD1500 wireless keyboard, but you could try a USB wireless keyboard. It would need to be HID (human interface device) compliant.

Question

Netflix asking to log in every time.

I recently updated my smart hub a few days ago. After the update, applications such as Netflix and Youtube requires me to log back in every time I use it.

According to Netflix this is due to samsung issuing the same esn to other devices.

I only had this problem after updating firmware. I have already reset the smart hub. Problem still exist.

Same problem with same model; did factory reset, reinstalled netflix, opened ticket with samsung on phone and was told a fix would be available in 2 weeks (that was 2 weeks ago); attempted online support and was told they did not know why this is happening.

Comeon samsung, this worked FINE before the latest firmware update. Please RELEASE a fix for this. We do not want to have to enter netflix password every time.

Question

NetFlix not working anymore

Netflix was working fine on my TV until a couple of days ago.
It now always fail to connect to Netflix and it even freeze the TV. I have to unplug it to solve the issue.

I haven't done any modification to my setup in the meantime.
I therefore assume that it is a software upgrade issue or a backend system issue.
Netflix app is in version 3.1xxx

My home network is working fine, I can access other APP from SmartHub. Netflix is working fine on my computer.

One other thing you can try is to open Smart Hub and click Tools > Settings > About Smart Hub > Detail. Check to see if you have a Netflix ESN. If it says "Not Support" you can reset Smart Hub by clicking Tools > Settings > Reset. This will reset Smart Hub only and not your entire TV.

Once the factory reset is complete and you have re-configured your TV on your home network, we recommend you check for and apply any firmware updates prior to re-configuring Smart Hub. The latest firmware update was released on 7/9/2012.

As long as you are within the 6100 series it will be fine. They mainly go off serial number anyways. Hope that helps.

I registered it as 6100 even though it has a label with with 6150.
You'd think they would automatically update based on the Ser. # !!??

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, you can only use one account at a time. However, you could create many different Smart TV ID's and link different Facebook accounts to each, but only one ID can be logged in at a time.

Why I cannot sign-in to Skype, after firmware installation?

Since day one, my skype app was working fine. However, since I update firmware with the last version available, I cannot access or sign-in my skype account. I uninstalled and re-installed the application without any success. Do any one have an additional solution to this issue? Please, send a detailed procedure to follow.

Blockbuster App not working

i installed blockbuster app and it says not avail for my tv... check back in a few days. i keep waiting and still not working. i have not registered at blockbuster but that seems pointless since it will not open to allow me to enter code on tv. firmware up to date. Is there a timeline for adding support for HBO Go to the 2012 TV models?

I was a little disappointed to see that the app is not supported on my brand new 6100. Is there a ETA on when support will be added to the 2012 model TVs? This was one of the big reasons I purchased a Samsung.

Question

Smart Hub Netflix Log-in not retained

This has just happened recently since a recent update to the Smart Hub software. It used to stay logged into our Netflix account account before; however, now whenever, we want to open Netflix we are taken to the Netflix login page and have to go through the lenghty logon process every time. This is very annoying and keeps us from wanting to even use the Smart Hub.
Also, our television had a small glitch a while back that required us to reload the Smart Hub also. I wanted to do a reset on the TV but when I tried, it came up and asked for our PIN #. I couldn't remeber ever setting a PIN. So I tried the PIN that we use for all of our electronics but it did not work and I had to find a different method of getting the Smart Hub software to reload. These two incidents could be related.
Do you have any suggestions?
