Only the ES6500 series and higher have built-in Bluetooth that will allow you to use the Samsung VG-KBD1500 wireless keyboard, but you could try a USB wireless keyboard. It would need to be HID (human interface device) compliant.

As long as you are within the 6100 series it will be fine. They mainly go off serial number anyways. Hope that helps.

I had the same problem!!
I registered it as 6100 even though it has a label with with 6150.
You'd think they would automatically update based on the Ser. # !!??

Question

NetFlix not working anymore

Netflix was working fine on my TV until a couple of days ago.
It now always fail to connect to Netflix and it even freeze the TV. I have to unplug it to solve the issue.

I haven't done any modification to my setup in the meantime.
I therefore assume that it is a software upgrade issue or a backend system issue.
Netflix app is in version 3.1xxx

My home network is working fine, I can access other APP from SmartHub. Netflix is working fine on my computer.

One other thing you can try is to open Smart Hub and click Tools > Settings > About Smart Hub > Detail. Check to see if you have a Netflix ESN. If it says "Not Support" you can reset Smart Hub by clicking Tools > Settings > Reset. This will reset Smart Hub only and not your entire TV.

Once the factory reset is complete and you have re-configured your TV on your home network, we recommend you check for and apply any firmware updates prior to re-configuring Smart Hub. The latest firmware update was released on 7/9/2012.

Question

Netflix asking to log in every time.

I recently updated my smart hub a few days ago. After the update, applications such as Netflix and Youtube requires me to log back in every time I use it.

According to Netflix this is due to samsung issuing the same esn to other devices.

I only had this problem after updating firmware. I have already reset the smart hub. Problem still exist.

Same problem with same model; did factory reset, reinstalled netflix, opened ticket with samsung on phone and was told a fix would be available in 2 weeks (that was 2 weeks ago); attempted online support and was told they did not know why this is happening.

Comeon samsung, this worked FINE before the latest firmware update. Please RELEASE a fix for this. We do not want to have to enter netflix password every time.

Is there a timeline for adding support for HBO Go to the 2012 TV models?

I was a little disappointed to see that the app is not supported on my brand new 6100. Is there a ETA on when support will be added to the 2012 model TVs? This was one of the big reasons I purchased a Samsung.

Yes you can. We just bought a Wireless Mouse and Keyboard. Makes the Remote a secondary thought. Don't waste your time get one now to make your life easier!

When opening web browser - update prompt appears. When pressed ok, it appears to update but then gives error message : error_exe_001

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, you can only use one account at a time. However, you could create many different Smart TV ID's and link different Facebook accounts to each, but only one ID can be logged in at a time.

Without knowing the specific models of the various devices you have specified, we can only confirm that the remote that came with your TV will allow you to control a STB (set-top box)/cable box as well as your TV.

We have also confirmed with our resident home theater expert that the remotes that come with Samsung Blu-ray players are not universal remotes. Question

Audio - low volume

My new Samsung 6100 Smart 46" seems to have a problem with audio volume. I have to set it at 50-60 to hear it properly; I've checked the sound level on my dvd player, it is set at maximum. I've returned audio back to factory defaults and run the sound self-diagnostic, nothing came up. I don't think I should have to set the volume that high. What might be the problem?

Bose speakers, will they work with my 6100?

I have a set of Bose Companion 2, Series 2, Multimedia speakers that I purchased with my laptop. I've never used them with the laptop, but would like to know if they can be used with my 6100, and if so, what kind of connector I will need to purchase. The current connector does not work.

Question

How do I log in to Amazon Instant

When trying to log in to Amazon Instant I get an error message that tells me to "Exit [Smart Hub] > Menu > Support > Software Update > Online with your remote control". However, in Support, Software Update is greyed out. Selecting "Software Update" anyway get a dialog box stating "This function isn't available". What is the work around?

way to save settings?

It seems imperative to have a way to save settings, please! With different devices connecting and different movie formats it's painful adjusting settings for each. Having a PS3 playing bluray and not having an HD cable box and then varying movie files... lots of settings changes!

Question

Tie-back or secure tabletop TV to wall

In the booklet that came with the TV it mentions a tie-back, but I can't find anything like that for sale. So I can create my own, but I need the bolt dimensions for the threaded openings (used for wall mounting) to attach a line from the TV to the wall it's sitting in front of.
