This TV is a fully capable 120Hz set and offers the Auto Motion Plus feature that enhances said 120Hz image. This set will always upscale your 60Hz signal to 120Hz, regardless of any settings you may have active. However, in order to receive the full 120Hz benefit (judder and blur reduction, and frame interpolation), you will need to have Auto Motion Plus active. The reason you are seeing the 60Hz in the info box is because the info box only displays the signal’s actual Hz and screen resolution and not the info of the picture on the screen after the TV processes it. Meaning that the 60Hz you are seeing is the signals actual Hz and not the screen’s Hz. Currently there is no way to display the screen’s Hz in the info box. Coincidentally, the Samsung TVs can only accept a 60Hz signal and there are currently no consumer devices on the market that will transmit at over 60Hz (excluding some PCs).

I would suggest activating Game Mode to help better display your fast paced games. Game Mode bypasses some of the TVs processors, and turns off some features, such as Auto Motion Plus, to give you an almost direct feed from your game system. This will help in the time it takes the signal to travel from the game system to the panel, effectively reducing the time between when you press your action button to when you see the action displayed on the screen, making for more accurate responses.

Have you tried using a Flashdrive with only the upgrade file on it? I removed all of my data from my flashdrive except the unzipped file and it worked just fine. I never tried it using a flashdrive with other data on it.

Except for sun glare off the screen, LED TVs are not generally affected by sunlight. On the other hand, temperature does affect them. The operating temperature range for Samsung LED TVs is 50° F to 104° F (10° C to 40° C). The safe storage temperature range for Samsung LED TVs is -4° F to 113° F (-20° C to 45° C). Temperatures outside these ranges can cause LCD TVs to malfunction.

I would be happy to help you out with this. In order to change the aspect ratio (screen size), you will want to head into the TV's menu, then to the picture sub-menu. Once there, head into the "Picture Options" option. Within that option, you will see the "Size" adjustment. Clicking into that will allow you to change the picture size of the screen.

The instruction book clearly shows how to do this. If you have a secure network in your home make sure you follow the steps to enter the security code. If you can't make a connection, try moving your router a bit close. My set is on the first floor and my router is on a desk on the second. When my set would not connect I moved the router to the floor and just those couple of feet did the trick.

Although this model does not have direct access to Samsung Apps or any other internet content, it can access App content through a 2010 Samsung BD player (the blu-ray player will handle the Internet content processing). Additionally, although this model offers AllShare DLNA for streaming saved content from a DLNA device (PC, Cell Phone, Etc.) through a wired or wireless connection with a Samsung Linkstick to a home network, the Linkstick itself cannot add Internet@TV functionality. The Linkstick can only facilitate a network connection to Samsung Devices that already offer either network connectivity or Internet@TV and Samsung Apps.

Although this model does not have direct access to Samsung Apps or any other internet content, it can access App content through a 2010 Samsung BD player (the blu-ray player will handle the Internet content processing).
