You can try connecting up your device by USB. Here's the process:
1. Turn on your TV. 2. Connect a USB device containing photo, music, and/or movie files to the USB jack on the back of the TV. A pop up window appears. 3. Press the MEDIA.P button on your remote. The Media Play menu appears.
However, there are multiple guidelines for ensuring that your media works on the TV. Please consult your manual on pages 8-9 at the link provided: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201204/20120404171351351/[UE6000-ZA]BN68-04500A-00-ENG_web_0404.pdf
Also, understand that it is unlikely that your iPad will work. This is not a limitation of the TV. Rather it is limitation of the iPad, due to the product's design intentions. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, or if you want to come through a social media channel, we have a couple options for you:
If you have a Twitter account, go here or to this URL: http://twitter.com/#!/samsungsupport Having a transaction number or model number and serial number handy ahead of time will be helpful.
If you have Facebook, go here to this URL: http://www.facebook.com/SamsungSupport Click on the "Support Form" button.
I have a Verizon Fios HD box and I do not believe I am getting the best picture I can out of the TV. Is there something I have to do with the cable box or with the TV? Also I have a Xbox connected and want to know how to get the best picture out of the TV while playing.

Thank you for contacting Samsung.
As long as you are using an HDMI connection for both devices, you should be fine. Short of any aftermarket calibration tools or recommended picture settings you may find online, HDMI is currently the highest standard for connecting any external devices to your TV for the best audio and picture quality.
Thank you for contacting Samsung. The hardware is compatible with HDMI 1.4; however, none of the features of 1.4 are supported on this product. I hope that's not confusing. However, I can definitely say that your TV supports surround sound. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!

Thank you for contacting Samsung. Here's an article that explains the limitation of the browser: http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_troubleshooting_fr.jsp?idx=406298&modelname=UN65ES8000F&modelcode=UN65ES8000FXZA
However, to clarify for other people, this model doesn't have a browser or an apps platform. So you must have a different model than the one you posted under. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!
While watching TV the screen goes blank and displays the info screen. Then the picture comes back and the info screen goes away. It is brief but something is wrong. I tried to reload the firmware but it would not reload the same version.

Thank you for contacting Samsung. Your TV displays what the input it's getting from the source. In this case, whatever you're viewing is providing 720p/i. For the 60 part, the United States standard broadcast signal is 30 frames per second. Each frame is made up of two interlaced frames, 60 interlaced frames form the standard 30 frames per second. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!

Thank you for your question. If you have a universal remote from another manufacturer and you want the code number to use on that remote to operate a Samsung product, you must contact that manufacturer for the code number. Samsung cannot provide the codes for other manufacturer's remotes.
Everytime the tv is turned on there is an onscreen message for about 2 seconds that says no signal and then asks me to check the source input. After 2 seconds the picture appears - the tv is connected to a cable box via HDMI. Is this a factory default?

This occurs when it takes your cable box begins to initialize after starting up. Make sure that you have a 6ft. or less length HDMI cable, as longer cables will get signal degradation, unless you have a high end cable.
Everytime the tv is powered on an onscreen message appears for about two seconds saying no signal and asking me to check the source code and then the pic appears. The tv is connected to a cable box via HDMI and the cable as well as the cable box have been replaced with new equipment. Is this a default setting and can I change that setting? Thanks

When you are powering on the TV, is the cable box already powered on? If not, this is why you might see the brief onscreen message that says "No Signal." Also, modern TVs take a few seconds longer to power on, so there may be a brief moment where the TV is detecting the signal from the cable box.

Thank you for contacting Samsung.
This TV is always refreshing at 240hz, but the incoming signal may not be 240hz, so what appears on screen is the data representative of that particular signal.
Thank you for contacting Samsung. We'll be happy to assist you with your problem, but we'll need more information to answer your question. Please contact us at qasupport@sea.samsung.com and what model device you're connecting and how you intend on attempting to connect it. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!
