I have to disagree with Mr. Samsung on this answer. While it is true that 200x200 VESA is a standard, it appears that the screw types are not, in fact standard. I have purchased a SANUS full motion mount that is VESA 200x200 compliant; however, the machine screws required by Samsung are M8. The system comes only with M4, M5, and M6. Also, the length and thread pitch are not documented. It appears, I need M8 with about 28 mm in length (at least for my SANUS) and a pitch of 1.25. I can't locate these yet. Further, once I do obtain the bolt, it won't work because the bracket is made for a screw tjat is a max size of M6. So, the moral of the story is to purchase a mount that is specifically compatible with this exact Samsung model.

Question

Mounting

I plan on purchasing the UN32C4000 and mounting the UN32C4000 in a class A motorhome where the existing tube type TV sits now. The existing TV is at an angle of about 6 degrees and was planing to mount UN32C4000 at that same angle. Two questions: Will the VESA mount or Ultra Slim mount be strong enought to support the UN32C4000 while traveling down the highway? and the second question is: Can the UN32C4000 withstand the jarring and vibration while traveling down the highway? Please advise. If you have a better solution I would like to know about it.

Although I can only assume that the TV will withstand being in a motor home, I cannot guarantee that severe vibrations will not damage your unit. However, I highly suggest using a standard Vesa wall mount for your application since the ultra slim mount may not give you the proper support. For more info on a Vesa mount, please contact your local retailer.

All current generation Samsung TVs are digital cable ready. All of our TVs include a coax ATSC/QAM tuner that handles digital and analogue broadcast signals as well. No external boxes or equipment needed to view your basic cable. Premium service may require additional equipment and fees. Please contact your service provider for details.

Question

What is the size of the VESA complient screws that are used to wall mount this unit?

My experience is that new flat screens generally come with these screws, but since this model doesn't and I am not using a Samsung wall mount, I need to know exactly what size to order and where to get them from. The manual only states the size as M8. I believe there is a length measurement needed also.

If you head to your TV's menu, then to the Setup sub-menu, you will see the “General” option. Within this option, you will find the Game Mode option. If Game Mode is grayed out, this means you do not have your device connected to an input that supports game mode.

Make sure the mini-plugs are inserted firmly and all the way into their jacks. I was fooled by this and did not get signal until I shoved the adapter plugs further into the jacks.

Perhaps you may have Anynet+ active on the devices. Anynet+ allows you to control multiple Samsung devices with just one remote, through HDMI. However, it also allows you to automatically control the power cycle of the devices (when one device turns on or off, all devices will turn on or off). Turning Anynet+ off may alleviate your issue. If it does not, please contact a live Samsung Service representative.

Unfortunately, headphone jacks are not available on this unit; however you can still connect headphones to this unit with a third party headphone device (either through RCA, 3.5mm jack or Optical). Since the audio outputs on this unit are a fixed pass through type of connection, you would need an intermediary device to control the volume, since the TV does not have control of the volume coming out of the analogue and digital audio outputs.
