Question

I just hooked up my new tv, why is everything in black and white?

I first hooked the cable and got no signal so I hooked up the video and audio cables. I got picture and sound but it's all in black and white and the picture quality is not that good. I can see the pixel dots and across the very top of the screen a few colors will flash now and then.

Question

Streaming from Netflix, etc. via wireless internet?

Is it possible to stream direct from Netflix via wireless internet onto my Model No. UN19D4003BD 19" LED TV? If it can't be wirelessly connected to the internet, what are my options to connect to the internet through this TV? What cable would I need to connect via my laptop? USB to USB or is there another output type needed?

Although this model does not have direct access to Samsung Apps (like Netflix, Pandora or YouTube), it can access App content through a 2010-11 Samsung BD player (the blu-ray player will handle the Internet content processing). Unfortunately, I currently do not have any information on Samsung Apps or Smart TV being added to the 2011 and earlier models that do not offer said features.

Question

Firmware update

I downloaded the latest firmware update today 9-1-12 onto a flash drive. I inserted the flash drive into the USB on the rear of the TV. I selected menu and usb firmware update. THe TV does not recognize the only file on the plugged in flash drive. I heed help to proceed. thank you

Question

TV does not work after Firmware update.

Purchased the TV and hooked it up through the TV (coaxial) connection. All was working fine. Did a firmware update and now I can not get the TV to find any channels through the TV (coaxial) connection. HDMI seems to work fine. When I did the firmware update it seemed strange that it was updating from version 1015 to 1007. 1007 is what I down loaded from the web site and I assume it was the latest version. Now I can not get it to find any channels in the TV of Cable mode. The only thing that changed was the firmware version. If you can not help me I will be force to return the set.
