I have conected this item to my computer as a monitor and it worked great -I then gave it to my wife to work out "YOGA" and the system only provides her with black and white images-I also tried a vcr and it also does the same. I am good with t.v. - computers - and sound systems. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT TO DO. note:I did already did all the adjustments and I am also using Y/ R&W for sound and picture. ----- LOOKING FORWARD TO A SOLUTION ----

This monitor only has a component input. It does not accept composite plugs which is causing the color issue. You will need to plug the vcr in using component cables.

The power button is located on the right hand side at the bottom. If you remember where the power light was, if you look right above that you can see the power symbol. Place your thumb on the symbol and it should turn on, its touch sensitive.

We recommend you try powering on the monitor from the power button on the unit itself. If it immediately powers on without issue and you have already tried swapping out the remote batteries, once the monitor is powered on, is the remote's operation normal or does it continue to be an issue? If so, the issue is definitely the remote.

If the monitor does not power on without issue when you press the power button on the unit itself, you have the option of filing a service request to have the unit inspected by an authorized service technician.

Is there a firmware update for this TV

My wife prefers her old analog TV because the analog/digital converter box has better a guide menu. On her box/tv she can access the guide for a channel for several hours in advance. With the new Samsung TV we can see what is currently playing and that is all. The guide/info is to small to read from a normal viewing distance. I have two Samsungs, T260HD and a T220HD, both with the same deficiency.

Why can I see movement on a solid (dark) background?

while having a solid and dark color displayed on the monitor, it looks as if "Waves" were moving up and down, at first I thought the refresh rate was too low, but after adjusting it from 59Hz to 60Hz it is still the same, can you offer some help? does it has to be sent to service?

Why will sound work on some channels, but not all channels. Like sound will work on 36, 37, 38, but not 05, 06, 09, 24, 26.

On High Def the sound will garble - You can still hear it, but it is distorted. You can change the channel and switch right back and the sound is fine again for a varing amount of time.

Digital chanel

I have bought a monitor SyncMaster T220HD. In it specs it says that this monitor has a digital tv tuner and it's suppose to find uncoded digital broadcasts. But my product doesn't manage to find any digital service. I did try with another equipment and i have been able to find digital service. Because i didn't get an answer to my e-mail from romanian branch, i came up with this issue here.

Just bought new hpe-510F desktop running win 7 64bit, hooked to samsung monitor, no clarity.

When I unboxed and ran the computer with this monitor, the lack of clarity makes it almost unreadable. The driver installed for the video card (amd radeon hd 6570 ) is from 3/3/2008, 3.0.0.0 for the syncmaster T220HD (digital) I have only 2 resolution settings I can run at. I am running at 1920x1080 at 60hz. Neither resolution looks good. This monitor looks great when hooked to my dell laptop (running win 7 32 bit). I feel that the driver is not the right one. Please advise on the driver or the steps I can take to make this monitor look clear. thank you.

why won't my T220HD turn on.

So I bought this LCD MONITOR a few years back. I turned it on today hoping to watch some television because that's what I use it for , as well as to play my video games, it does not respond to remote power on so when I touch the power icon on the screen the red light comes on and flashes and the screen lights up for half a second and then goes off. I don't understand why it's doing this when the day before it was working perfectly fine with no screen problems or anything else. I changed the batteries in the remote and that did't work. I looked up your user guide and no problem like this is listed. An answer within the next day would be helpful

Hi,
I just upgraded to Win7 which overwrote the driver and reset the video driver back to Windows PnP. Please send me the link for the driver download. I tried to use the support link with the monitor model number and model code, the web page stated that no downloads are available for this monitor.'

Can a laptop be connected to SyncMaster T220HD with an SVGA cable?

I have successfully connected my laptop to my Samsung SyncMaster T220HD using a 15 pin VGA cable. I have recently purchased a 14 pin SVGA cable and it does not work. The laptop recognizes the external monitor; however, the image is not showing up on the SyncMaster T220HD.
