I just checked several different models of glasses for myself this way and then checked on what local stores carry them, just follow the links. I have one pair of the SSG-3700CR Active Glasses myself and looking for options for family members and guest to have multiple pairs.
These are covers for the glasses. Pull the tabs-green and red and the protective cover comes off. Becareful cleaning the lens do not pressure the two lens together (each eye has two lens one in front of the other) like cleaning a normal pair of glasses. Each side has a front and rear lens (red side/green side) and pressing together will cause damage. I just read the manual myself.
Powering on/off 3D glasses as outlined in the manual states they automatically powers on the green LED for 3 seconds. Once taken off, they will automatically power off shortly and the red LED will be lit for 3 seconds and turns off. If the TV is on the 3D mode and the glasses are removed off your head it will take 5 minutes for them to power off. I just read the manual after reading questions posted this way I can figure out what to do and learn from other questions, hope this helps.
Spots sound like hard water marks? Use a micro-fiber cloth, sold everywhere these days. Don't press on both lens at the same time on each eye, they have a front and rear lens and that could damage the glasses. (Red and green lens, remember taking the protective covers off with those colored tape tabs?)
From the manual: "Since the product surface and lens are easily scratched, make sure to use a clean soft cloth (the cleaning cloth supplied with the product, a cloth consisting of superfine fibers or cotton flannel) when cleaning to avoid scratching either the surface or the lens. As the product may become scratched if there are any foreign items on the cloth, make sure to shake off any dust before using it."
I received these two glasses in the D8000 tv that I bought. It does not have any manual and just two usb cable that comes with it. I tried charging the glasses for 12 hours and attempt to pair it with the tv but nothing happened. There is no light blinking on the camera or anything that signal the camera is working. What did I do wrong or is the camera defective?

I have SSG-3700CR and registered them with other items procured and the link to download didn't have the manual why? I located one though a different distributor of Samsung products when are you updating all manual as customer service/support? Yes, one does come in the package but having the pdf is helpful.
