Are you watching a 3D blu-ray? Is the tv set to 2D to 3D or auto? Is the bd-c5900 hdmi into either a compatible 1.4v receiver or straight into tv? If yes to all, then they or the tv is defective, call Samsung support.

check first if your 3d glasses is compatible with your tv. Most 3d glasses are created to be compatible with certain Samsung tv. If your tv and glasses are both compatible to each other try this:

- turn on tv
- check the led light and pairing button at the back of the glasses
- look for the pairing button or power button on the glasses
- hold the glasses within 2 feet near the tv
- press the pairing button on the glasses
- led light should lid up during pairing
- lower left of the screen will show if the pairing is successful you dont have to pair it again the tv will automatically recognize the glasses when in use
- best result should be use within 30 ft near the tv
- it can be paired for more than one tv
- use the charger that came along with the glasses to charge the glasses

if these does not work call Samsung...

The glasses should have come with a small blue cloth for cleaning. If you lost or do not have the cloth use a piece of cotton flanel. They should remove any and all finger prints on the glasses. You can use a damp cloth but only if nessesary.

Be very gentle, don't squeeze the lenses at all. It's best to use a high quality glasses cleaner and lint free microfiber cloth, like the one that came with them.

The non-rechargable glasses have a small "watch" battery in the side of the glasses, protected by a slide off cover on the inside of the hinge.
Probably best to confirm with the manual, but most Samsung glasses take CR2025 batteries, and are easily replaced, no tools required.

Hold button for more than 1.5 seconds, they will blink a few times indicating they are turning off. They also turn off after the tv goes out of 3D mode supposedly and they also have a timeout feature if they don't receive the IR signal from the TV for a set time.

Could you confirm the model number of the TV and IR Glasses? I'm going to assume that the issue is relating to a C Series TV (Px50C680 or similar?) and the SSG-2100/2200 glasses?

I had the same problem, two pairs of glasses, both dropping sync regularly, IR emitter board replaced under warranty, and the second time it went away for repair it never came back.
Got a Samsung D series (with the new bluetooth technology glasses [SSG-3100]) and i no longer have an issue.

Your best bet is to book for repair, and keep having the equipment replaced until it comes back as something else!... hopefully under warranty!

The glasses generally are not at fault. Try and take them down to a local retailer who might have a C series on display to try them out there to prove they're not the issue here.

You won't see the emitter on the tv blink, the glasses only blink when turned on, off, or dead battery. As long as source blu-ray is 3D, and 3D is turned on (2D to 3D or auto, they will just work. Press power button on glasses for 1 second and they blink a few times indicating they are on.

If you are talking about the fast flicker, that is the shutter lens technology of the glasses. Each lens flashes back and forth very fast and is supossed to be not noticable by the human eye. But I can notice it, and it sounds like you can as well. I have my TV right in front of a window, so what I noticed is that if there is any light or reflection out side of the TV, the flickering is worse. It almost seems that the glasses are fighting the light or reflection outside the TV. I found it best to make the room as dark as possible or watch 3D movies at night.
