I was wondering why I have to crop my images in order to put them as wallpaper

When I first bought my phone I could put any picture I wanted no matter the size and it would just make me scroll to the sides to see the whole image but now it makes me crop them. Would I need to take this up with the Android creators or will we be able to fix it here?

Battery is expanded

Battery is swelled.
Also, the phone is sometimes power off, although it is full charged.

Hi ray35ray,

Thank you for your inquiry and we understand that you would like to have a replacement battery for your Transform Ultra phone, SPH-M930.

Since you would like to have a replacement battery, concerns you have using the battery of your phone may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can set up warranty service for your accessory, if it is determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone.

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the accessory has failed, our Repair Administrators create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the Accessory. Provided that the failure is not due to physical/liquid damage it will be replaced under warranty.

NOTE: A copy of the Proof of Purchase must be included with the accessory when sending it in for service.

If the accessory is beyond the warranty period or falls outside of the terms of the Samsung Limited Warranty, it would require the purchase of a replacement device.

For information on what is and is not covered by The Standard Limited Warranty, we invite you to go view the full version of the warranty that covers all Samsung phones and accessories by going to http://www.samsung.com/us/support, select Cellphones > Your Carrier > Your Model click the "Select" button.

In the upper right on the next page you will see a link to the Warranty.

For troubleshooting or questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

A Customer Service Representative will be able to assist you between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time. My battery will not charge. I have tried two different chargers and neither work.

My battery will not charge. When I plug it in, it recognizes the charger, but it doesn't charge the battery. The battery icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen, has the lightning bolt symbol, but doesn't show that it is charging. I have tried two different chargers and neither of them work. I have tried a soft reboot also. I turned it off, removed the battery, reinserted it, and rebooted the phone. Same problem occurs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that your battery is not charging and we do apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused you.

You may try performing a soft reset on the phone as a basic troubleshooting step to fix it, by taking out the battery for at least 15-30 seconds, then put the battery back in again and turn it back on to refresh the software.

Please check all physical connections when charging:
-Ensure the wall charger is plugged in completely in to the wall outlet and that it is secure.
-Ensure the USB cable is plugged securely in to the charger (if applicable)
-Ensure the charger plugs completely in to the charging port on the device and is free from damage and debris
-Inspect the battery, check the LDI sticker and the battery terminals to ensure they are free of debris or corrosion
-Inspect the device terminal connectors to ensure they are not missing, bent, or broken

Please check the information listed below for the charging time for your phone.

Initial charging time: 6-8 hours
Regular Charging time: 2-4 hours

You may also drop by at your service provider's corporate or local store to try using a different battery or charger to check if it would work.

Will you release ICS or JB to the Transform Ultra?

While I kow the Samsung Transform Ultra was not widely released - looks like Boost and Ting were pretty much it - this phone seems to be an underground fave in the dev community. We know the 4.x base Android system was planned to be compatible with as many devices as possible, so how about it? will we get an official release, or have to depend on the dev's to build it and make us all become root users to get ICS or JB? The TU is an incredible phone and it's unfortunate that it didn't get wider distribution.

All Samsung products are manufactured to the specifications of the service provider for whom they are produced, including the software updates.

As of the moment, Samsung is unable to speculate on when or if there would be a future ICS or JB software update may be released and can only provide information on currently available updates in the U.S.

The current softawre version on your phone is FC29 launched 5/9/2012.

You may check the software version on your phone using the steps below.

Check the Software on Your Mobile Device
1.From the Home screen, touch Applications > Settings > About phone.
2.The Build number and Baseband version show the current software version on your mobile device.

The maintenance release for software of your phone was performed OTA (Over the Air).

Thank you for your inquiry and we understand that you want to know how to transfer pictures and contacts from your old phone to the new phone via micro SD card.

You can try putting your micro SD card from your old phone to the new phone that you have and check if you will be able to see the pictures and contacts that you have on the SD card.

If its not letting you see the pictures you have on the micro SD card, please contact us with additional information regarding the model number/brand of the old phone that you have so that we may better assist you.

Question

Dead battery?

Hi - This morning my phone turned itself off, and since it won't turn on, won't charge, nothing. I believe there was at least 50% battery left when the phone turned off. When I plug the phone into the charger, the light doesn't come on, nothing happens at all. It is really hot here today, could the heat have blown the battery out completely? I have tried taking the battery out and back in as well.

How do i proceed in the service request process?

when i click on service request, the page already shows me my contact and product info and gives me the options to modify my info before i request a repair, buy any accessories or add any new product to the list. I had already started the service request process before but i discontinued it after i acidentally pressed the refresh button. Phone will not save contacts

I am adding contacts into my phone and the contacts are not saving. I have entered the same number three times and still do not find it in my contact list. I have powered the phone off and still my contacts do not save. What else can I do? I also keep losing signal when I am standing outside.
