Log in at Samsung.com. On the right side of your product, you should see a list of links titled Quick Links. Click the link that allows you to complete registration. There you should see an option that allows you to remove or delete products.

Question

how to get in locked phone with no email setup incase phone locks up..?

when I got the phone it was a gift from relative and they showed my how run my thumb in apattern to open it .I've had it off for 9 -10 mo.when it turned it on it won't except the pattern and I over attempted and it locked says go to gooogleaccount I don't have one???what do i do?

Hi JustinSeeders,

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that your phone is not functioning and it needs a repair. We do apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused you.

You may try performing a soft reset on the phone as a basic troubleshooting step to fix it, by taking out the battery for at least 15-30 seconds, then put the battery back in again and turn it back on to refresh the software.

If your phone is not functioning properly, this may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

IN WARRANTY REPAIR:
If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the handset requires service/repair, our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.

OUT OF WARRANTY REPAIR:
For information on what is and is not covered by The Standard Limited Warranty, we invite you to go to http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/warranty/ phone model code and view a full version of the warranty that covers all Samsung phones and accessories.

If the phone has experienced damage or is out of warranty by date (it was purchased more than one year ago) the standard charge will likely apply for the repairs to your phone. Charges start at $70.36 and can increase, depending upon the nature and severity of the issue. We are only able to arrange payment for these repairs through credit card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX).

LIQUID OR MOISTURE DAMAGE:
Due to Samsung's policy with repairs, any damage encountered to the phone through water or other liquids can and in most cases will cause corrosion to the inner workings of the handset. In these circumstances, it is no longer feasible to attempt to repair the phone; consequently, the phones received in this condition into our North Texas repair facilities are shipped back to the customer un-repaired. If you have insurance through your service provider please contact them for a possible replacement phone. Also, if you purchased the phone with a credit card most companies offer buyers protection. Contact your Credit Card Company to inquire about this program.

CONTACTING SAMSUNG CUSTOMER CARE TO ARRANGE FOR REPAIR:
For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

A Customer Service Representative will be able to assist you between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time. The defective product will need to be sent to our repair center and a Proof of Purchase is required. The Warranty Processing Specialist will assign a RMA number for the repair that will need to be written under our address on the outside of the package being sent. The phone will be tested and inspected for quality assurance while in our facilities. This will ensure the fact that your phone will be completely functional with all necessary repairs performed when the handset is shipped from our facilities.

Our repair facility will have the phone 5-7 business days from the time that it is received. Some dealer locations may offer a loaner phone program while your handset is in repair. While Samsung cannot control the availability of these products or programs in your area, please contact your local provider or dealer if you are in need of a phone, to find out if they are a participating member of this program. If you have any questions regarding this process, please ask the Service Representative at the time of your call.

In addition, if your device is in warranty or you have insurance through your service provider, some providers do offer a replacement policy on phones which need servicing. In some cases, they may send out a replacement phone and the defective phone is sent back to them in return. For more details on a possible exchange, please contact your Service Provider.

Question

Crashes every time I try to update OS from DL05 to FB01

The system regularly prompts to reboot and attempt the update, but after rebooting I see the appropriate unpacking android image, then the vague android error image. It's perfectly locked up so a manual hard reset follows. At this point I always encounter the following, including the four options in the middle.

So sorry you are experiencing these issues! Have you tried consulting Sprint about this issue yet? They might be able to provide quicker support than sending in your device to us. Also, please make sure this isn't a network issue and ensure that you have signal when sending out text messages.

If this is a recent problem, try removing recent apps/files you have added to your phone as well as clearing the cache. Then try a soft reset by pulling out your battery for a few minutes.

If that does not alleviate the issue, you might want to try a hard reset AFTER backing up your personal data. Hard/Factory reset: http://bit.ly/M1NuGm
