Thanks for your question!

Regarding your concern, you may try to delete the Gmail account off your phone and then try re-syncing with your Gmail account. You may also want to try doing a soft reset by turning off the phone, then remove the battery and put it back in after a couple of minutes and power on the phone again.

If you need additional assistance or information, please just write us again on this forum or you can also try calling Samsung Customer Support at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357 between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, CST. From there, a representative can assist you further!

Or feel free to ask us on Twitter @GalaxySsupport or @samsungservice for speedy responses in the U.S.

Hello and thanks for reaching out!

Battery life durations specified on our products are tested in our labs under multiple different conditions and the talk and standby times are a realistic average maximum dependent on customer usage variables.
Battery power consumption depends on a number of factors, such as network configuration, signal strength, operating temperature, features selected, frequency of calls, and voice, data, and other application usage patterns.
Some variables that may affect battery life are:
• Blacklight settings set to always on or a long amount of time
• Ring tone settings set to higher volume settings
• Vibrate settings turned on
• Using Internet Services including Text Messaging
• Making and/or Receiving calls in, or simply standing by in, an analog service area
• If you tend to be in a "weak" coverage area where your signal strength meter shows only 1 to 2 bars
• Using non-SAMSUNG charging accessories can cause battery life and other issues, as well as void the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

If the battery is not holding a charge it may mean that it is not charging properly. Make certain that the charger cable is properly plugged in. It is also possible that the battery may be damaged. If you suspect that it may be, or should this issue continue to occur, please feel free to call us here at Samsung Technical Support at 1-888-987-4357.

Thank you for choosing Samsung.

It is highly unlikely that you overcharged the battery.

Try lowering the screen brightness and turning off unused applications for battery conversation.

Question

How do we get a new one?

My wife and I bought twin Prevail's from Boost. Her Prevail keeps refusing to charge the battery, saying "incompatible battery" or words to that effect... We've swapped chargers AND swapped batteries... It's still doing the same thing. (She's registering right now.) Her phone was purchased on the same date as mine... They've been in service LESS than 30 days...

Usually when you see network error that means you are no longer connected to the internet. Whatever internet connection you have try to make sure it is working properly (It may have lost its signal). Also make sure your devices are synced to whatever internet connection you have.
