Hi Jessibee!

Thank you for your inquiry.

Are referring sending a multiple text message to multiple contacts on the Samsung Prevail™ Android Smartphone (SPH-M820)?

Regarding this concern, upon checking the specifications and settings on the phone, there are no configurable options to send multiple text messages at the same time. We can only send a text message to up to 10 contacts.

For you to create text message and send it to multiple contacts on the SPH-M820 handset, please follow the steps below:

1. From the Home screen, select Applications.
2. Select Messaging.
3. Select New Message.
4. On “To:” field, select Contacts.
5. Check the box besides the recipients.
6. Compose the message and then touch Send.

To lock a text message, hold down that text message (long press your finger on the message) until a menu pops up. The first option on that menu is "Lock message". Other options on that menu include calling the number the message is from, forwarding the message to another recipient, copying the message text, viewing the message details, and deleting the message.

Question

How do I unlock my phone when retrieving voice messages?

When I attempt to retrieve my voice messages by depressing the number 1 on my dial pad, I'm prompted to enter my password, however no kepad appears, and am unable to enter my password. The only thing that appears is a prompt that states that I should "Press the LOCK key to unlock," however, I can't find any instructions on how to accomplish that task. Please advise. Thanks.

Did you by chance save this list of contacts as vCard files? I save an old contacts list to .vcard using outlook and save them in a contact folder I put on my microSD card and put it in my phone. From there I clicked the Contacts icon then selected the (bottom left of phone button that looks like the top of sheet of paper) and you will get a pop-up and there you will see an import/export option. After selecting the import/export option just guide your phone to the folder you created on the microSD card and let it do the rest.

The other option is if you have gmail save all your contacts there and once you setup an account to the Android Market app using that gmail address you can sync your phone to all your contacts from gmail to your phone!

Hope this helps!

Problem moving apps to SD card

I can't move apps to the SD card, I cant get ANY apps to move to the card, I even went to youtube to see what add CAN be moved , downloaded them and attempted to move them to the card, it did not work, so I am stuck getting only apps that fit the phone memory. I dont think I should have to use a market app to force the apps in to the card. Why will this not work? By the way I know some apps cant be moved, plz dont waste time by rehashing what I already know.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us for support.

Regarding your concern, upon checking the specifications and settings on the Samsung Galaxy Prevail™ Android Smartphone (SPH-M820), there are no configurable options available to remove the lock that appears when a call is made. This feature will prevent the call to disconnect when you put the handset near your ear and accidentally touch you cheek.

However, you can unlock the screen for you navigate the phone even while on call by pressing the lock key.

Again, we thank you for comments and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
