If I am composing a text msg and the phone rings the text msg disappears. On page 38 of the users manual, it says you can save a text msg as a draft so you can edit it or send it later. What page tells you how to retrieve the saved draft?

Can I download pictures straight from the samsung phone's HD?
Or do I have to have a mini flash drive, or whatever it's called? Surely there's a way to download them just from the phone's hard-wired memory.

Hi Abracadabra,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Here's how you connect your phone to your computer to transfer files:
Connecting & Transferring
1.Choose mass storage
> tap on home screen > tap on applications > tap on settings > tap on applications > tap on usb settings > tap on mass storage
2.Uncheck debugging
> tap on home screen > tap on applications > tap on development > uncheck usb debugging. > Plug the cable into the phone. > Plug the other end of the cable in a USB port.
Tip: Avoid the use of multi-port hubs if possible.
> Sweep down on the Notification bar and Tap USB connected-Select to copy files to/from the computer. > Tap Mount. The computer may throw an option window. > Click on Open folder to view files. > Navigate to the desired files to be transferred and either drag and drop them over or copy and paste them into the directories.

Though I have set the alarm on the phone numerous ways, it only functions correctly half the time. For example I set an alarm for week days that seemed to work the first day but has not worked since. I set a "once" alarm and it didn't work the first time but when I reset it on and change the time it did work. Please help.

I tried the soft boot but got same results and then got a replacement phone from Virgin Mobile...now I have the same problem on the second phone. Either I am consistently doing something that is causing this dysfunction or the phone has a model wide issue in my humble opinion. Still wondering how to resolve. And please don't go with the pat answer of doing a reset. Having to reenter all of my contact info is prohibitive. Thank you for your help.
When I receive a message or email with pics I can never find the pic. I have went into the file manager and through all of that.
Can anyone help me out and tell me where these things are saved?
Thanks! Jim

Question
What is the unlock code for my phone so I may use it on another carrier?
I would like the unlock code to my phone so that I may use my phone on another CDMA carrier such as Verizon. I have tried contacting my current carrier about this (Sprint) and they have either hung up on me when I asked or gave me the run around. Thanks for any help you can offer, I really like this phone and Verizon does offer a caparable phone but I do not like it.

Hi FrustratedTechGuy!
Thank you for your correspondence. You may have to contact first your new preferred service provider and check with them if they can put their network setting on the phone. And if they can put the setting on the phone, you may have to contact your previous service provider and have them to remove their network settings on the phone. However, terms and condition may apply on this request. Once the network settings is remove, you can call up now you new proffered service provider have them put their network settings to the phone.

How to factory reset without turning phone on?
The phone in question, when the power button is held in, shows the Samsung logo and a "loading" type bar at the bottom of the screen (filling up). After this, the screen goes black, and the process repeats perpetually. Any help you can offer is appreciated!

My phone successfully paired with my computer. I am able to transfer files from my puter to my phone, and transfer contacts to my puter, but when I try to transfer an mp3 file to my computer, it asks if I want to search, even though the computer is listed in my trusted devices. Computer is in pairing mode, but my phone says that no devices are found.
