From a screen where you can enter text, press OPTIONS (right softkey) > Text Mode > Text Settings and then use your navigation key to scroll down the list and activate the desired text entry option:

> Auto-Capital: allows you to turn on or off the capitalization of the next character after a full stop punctuation is followed by a space.
> Auto-Space allows you to turn on or off the ability to insert a space automatically after a word is selected from the candidate list.
> Dual Language allows you to select word candidates to display in English only (None) or in Spanish (Spanish).
> Word Choice List allows you to display an onscreen list of available word choices.
> Word Prediction allows you to configure the phone to display possible word candidates after a preset number of characters have been entered.
> Word Completion allows you to turn on or off the ability to insert predictive words into the text.
> Use My Words allows you to turn on or off the ability to use words from your own custom dictionary.

Note: Yo can also access Text Entry options from the Settings menu. Press Menu > Settings > Text Entry.

Question

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 with U-connect, after the phone updated I can not use the hands free. Why?

I used to own an M520 phone and never had a problem with the U-connect in my truck. Now that I have an M570 and the newest firmware I am not able to use the U-connect with it. Both devices see each other and are paired, but they do not work together. I need them to work together or I will need to find another phone, which would be a shame since I really like this phone.

Greetings!

Pertaining to your query, I would strongly advise to please contact you car manufacturer if the phone is included on the trusted devices that can be paired with your car. Once verified as a trusted device then you can pair the phone with the car.

To pair with a Bluetooth device follow the steps below:

Note: Refer to the manufacturer of all third-party Bluetooth devices for instructions on enabling discovery mode and obtaining the passkey. In most cases, the default passkey is '0000' (four zeros).

1.Place Bluetooth device in discovery mode.
2.Highlight Home key and press OK key
3.Select Tools
4.Select Bluetooth
5.Select Add New
6.Enable Bluetooth if not already turned on, Yes
7.If the Trusted Devices list is empty, a search will begin and soon a list of devices will populate
8.Select a device and press the OK key
9.Verify passkeys match and select left soft key for Yes
10.Enter a unique device name and press the left soft key for Done to save changes

It was a pleasure doing business with you.

From the Sprint Music Store opening page, press Menu (right softkey) and select My Library.
*If prompted, highlight Update My Library and press the Ok button to re-index your microSD card’s Music folder and list all available music files.

Regarding your concern, upon checking the specifications and settings on the Samsung Restore™ Cell Phone (SPH-M570), you have to create a text message using the slider keyboard because it is default into T9 mode. There are no configurable options available to set T9 mode when entering text while the phone is in landscape mode.

Question

how do I install the battery

I have a samsung restore. The owners manual has five pages on the battery. It tells me not to put it in the microwave or paper shredder. I already figured that out on my own thanks. I also knew better then to drop it in water or put it in the freezer. I really can't figure out how to open the battery compartment. Including those instructions in the owners manual, would have been extremely helpful. It should be noted that every internet page dedicated to answering questions has this question on it. SO I am not the only one.
