Question

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 with U-connect, after the phone updated I can not use the hands free. Why?

I used to own an M520 phone and never had a problem with the U-connect in my truck. Now that I have an M570 and the newest firmware I am not able to use the U-connect with it. Both devices see each other and are paired, but they do not work together. I need them to work together or I will need to find another phone, which would be a shame since I really like this phone.

Greetings!

Pertaining to your query, I would strongly advise to please contact you car manufacturer if the phone is included on the trusted devices that can be paired with your car. Once verified as a trusted device then you can pair the phone with the car.

To pair with a Bluetooth device follow the steps below:

Note: Refer to the manufacturer of all third-party Bluetooth devices for instructions on enabling discovery mode and obtaining the passkey. In most cases, the default passkey is '0000' (four zeros).

1.Place Bluetooth device in discovery mode.
2.Highlight Home key and press OK key
3.Select Tools
4.Select Bluetooth
5.Select Add New
6.Enable Bluetooth if not already turned on, Yes
7.If the Trusted Devices list is empty, a search will begin and soon a list of devices will populate
8.Select a device and press the OK key
9.Verify passkeys match and select left soft key for Yes
10.Enter a unique device name and press the left soft key for Done to save changes

It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Question

Another update?

After the recent update, the phone no longer has the glitches that it had. Now it has another one. Whenever I start the music application, the song starts about half way into the song. It also doesn't let you restart the song because the phone freezes. I have to remove the battery every time that happens. An update to that issue would be great.
Thanks.

Question

Update?

I have been using this phone for about a month and a half now I've noticed multiple glitches with it. When a picture is taken, it is completely visible on the screen. Once I removed the memory card and put it into my computer, some of the pictures are shown with half it being grey. Only half of the picture shows up. Also, whenever I listen to music, the songs usually always cut. I can usually never hear all of the song because they are cut with five or ten seconds left. Whenever I receive a call while I am listing to music, after I hang up and go back to the music, I can't listen to it and have to start the song again. When you text and listen to music, there are always interruptions as you type. I owned a previous Samsung phone that was probably the previous version of this phone and never had those issues.

I was wondering if there will be any updates for the phone anytime soon.
Thanks

Greetings!
I do apologize for all the inconvenience that this may caused you. We are unable to speculate when/if this update revision might be available due to the fact that this might lead to inaccurate information and confusion.
Should this become available, it will be posted on our website in the Samsung Download Center or you will be informed by you Service Provider.
Please feel free to check back with us periodically for updates.
Maybe you can try doing a soft reset first, by turning off your phone, remove the battery, wait for a minute or two, put everything back and turn it on. Check the camera settings again and make sure that flash is enabled. If it does not work, I will suggest you to contact us.
We can do minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.
If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the handset requires service/repair, our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.
For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

There's no driver available for your SPH-M570 handset.

If you intend to transfer files between your phone and your computer, then you won’t a driver to install. All you need is a memory card inserted on the device for it to be recognized by the computer and set the phone to Mass Storage. If you wish to continue, you may follow the steps below.

STEPS:

1. Power down the handset
2. Remove the battery cover and insert a memory card into the memory card slot located on the bottom-right side (Hint: copper leads will face down)
3. Connect the compatible USB cable to both the PCs USB port and the handsets Power/Accessory interface connector
4. Highlight Home icon and press OK button
5. Select Tools (0)
6. Select Mass Storage (5)
7. Select Connect To PC (1)

*******The handset will display "Connect to PC - Call disabled"
*******The PC will display a Removable Disk dialog box.

6. Click on the "Open Folder To View Files" option and then click OK
7. Navigate through the DCIM folder to locate pictures and videos on the handset
8. Copy & Paste or Drag & Drop desired pictures and videos to the desired destination folder on the PC
9. On the handset, press the right soft key for Disconnect
10. Press the left soft key to confirm disconnection from PC
