If you are using a 3rd party app for navigation, we cannot guarantee the GPS will correlate. Make sure location settings is turned on and that the device has visibility with GPS satellites. We would also advise you to take out your battery for 30 seconds, replace it and turn the device back on.
If you're phone still does not connect to GPS while in your car, it may be because the car is blocking the satellite signal.
