I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. "SE" is the Key Short error code. Please try cycling the power by unplugging the microwave or turning the circuit breaker off then on again. If the error code returns, your microwave will require service. RE: SMH9207ST Microwave - i was using mIcrowave timer and it suddenly shut down.

I was using my microwave's timer and it suddenly shut down on me and will not start back up. NOTHING will turn on (ie: light, fan, timer, actual microwave, etc.) as if it has no power going to it. We unplugged it and plugged in another appliance and the power is working fine. It is only 1 year, 4 1/2 months old (purchased on 3/20/2010 at Lowes) and was installed by a licensed electrician. What do I do now?

It is not unusual for the membrane over the buttons on your microwave to become slightly "indented" or visible over time, but if the buttons are actually pushing back into the microwave it may require service. The model code was on the box that the microwave came in. When you click on the model code arrow, it gives you a couple of choices. One of the choices matched up with the alphanumeric info on the outside of the box so I clicked it and the site accepted it as valid!

for SMH9207ST looking for a replacment door

just purchase the SMH9207ST Microwave 1 month ago unit works great. had a small grease fire which fried half of the key pad. microwave works fine except for the sensor keys. is there a replacement key pad or door with keypad available for replacement?

The maximum depth of the cabinets above and beside the SMH9207ST microwave is about 14". Anything deeper could obstruct the hidden vent on the top of the microwave and also interfere with the ability of the door to open properly.

If your SMH9207ST microwave is turning on automatically when the door is closed, it will require service. Please unplug it and submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

If it is actually the fan that is running automatically, this is normal. It will turn off when the microwave has cooled sufficiently.

I just registered my microwave but could not find a 'model code'. Where is it?

To complete my registration I just chose the top choice of the two choices provided since it was a mandatory field. Nowhere in the manual or in the microwave does it indicate a model code, just a model number.

Problem with interior light

The light inside the microwave works sometime and does not work at other times. It is on when the oven is in use, but it lights sometimes when I open the door, and most times it does not light with the door open. Is this a defect or is there some user control that I am missing?

Thank you for the question. The interior oven light in your SMH9207 should turn on when you open the door and when you're operating the microwave. Before calling for service, I would suggest checking the bulb to make sure it is installed correctly by following the instructions that can be found on page 39 of the user manual which can be downloaded as a pdf file from this website for your convenience. To make sure the bulb itself is not defective, you could try replacing it with a new one that you should be able to find at your local appliance, home improvement or hardware store. Thank you for the question. The SMH9207 microwave is designed to use a 40-watt incandescent bulb for the cooktop light and Samsung does not recommend using a halogen or other type of bulb in its place.
