Thank you for the question. Please check to see if the Child Lock feature has been activated by pressing the My Choice and "5" button simultaneously for 5 seconds. You can also try cycling the power on the microwave by unplugging/replugging it or turning the circuit breaker on and off. Question

Oven will not start.

All the lights come on, the fan works, the top opens and closes. You enter the minutes (time) you want to cook, it beeps when you press the numbers and accepts the numbers you enter; it shows your selection in the LED spots and commands etc. but when you press "start" it beeps and appears to accept the command but absolutely nothing happens, no response of any kind, just nothing. No movement, the inside light comes on but the microwave does not work at all--the carousel does not revolve--just nothing. This isn't very old and no children ever touch it, it is used only by two mature adults who eat out a lot and do not cook very much so use of this microwave has been minimal, very minimal.

Question

What can cause the circuit breaker open?

We have had a few instances where when operating the microwave, The power goes off because the circuit breaker was activated (opened). In the circumstances I'm aware off, there was minimum moisture in the heated product. Will the absence of moisture cause the circuit breaker to "pop"? What other circumstances might be the cause?

I have a SAMSUNG over my stove

The SMH7177STE has grease filters on the bottom of the microwave to prevent grease and dust from entering the exhaust vents, and a charcoal filter behind the hidden vent to filter air before it enters the room. Samsung recommends cleaning the grease filters monthly and replacing the charcoal filter periodically, depending on use (approximately every 6 to 12 months if the recirculated venting feature is used). how can you turn off ALL beeping noices on this microwave?..already turned off reminder beeps but people are sleeping and those button beeps are 2loud

there has to be some secret combination of buttons that can do this, if not i'll have to open it up and take out the speaker! Or can i at least turn it way down?
