Did you try pressing the turntable on/off button?

Why not run a thread chaser on the microwave. Check the bolt if the threads look banged up on it run a thread tap on it.

Eco Mode is a feature available in Samsung's new over the range microwaves including the SMH1816, that reduces standby power usage by giving you the option to turn the display off when not in use. When Eco Mode is selected, the clock is not illuminated, for example.

The power levels have to do with the speed and intensity at which items are cooked or reheated. For example, some items like popcorn can be cooked at maximum (100%) power, while other items should be heated at lower power, as in defrosting meats. Attached is a general guide to the 10 power level options as they relate to typical cooking functions (from page 16 in the User Manual).

Condensation between the glass is a normal occurrence when cooking foods with a high water content. It is recommended that there be 4" of space around the microwave to allow free air circulation so water vapor can escape, and to promote evaporation of any condensation.
This also is to prevent the heating of nearby objects when the unit is using the heating elements. This is a standard precaution with any toaster-oven.

You can find pdf installation files for microwaves on the samsung web site. If you have to cut brick for duct work consider hiring a builder.

It's a good idea to install the charcoal filter in your SMH1816S even if you're venting the cooktop exhaust outside because the microwave fan still vents internally.

The SMH1816B can be set up so filtered air is recirculated into the room from vents located in the front that are concealed from view, or it can be vented outside from the rear or top of the unit.

I think you should check the venting instructions again there is another step you should do to the vent fans on the microwave for a verticle vent.
