Thanks for the question. Both the noise level and the flickering light could be caused by issues that you can correct yourself. If there are any loose connections in the installation of the venting (if external) or the blower motor or adapter, or if the grease or charcoal filters, vent cover, screws, turntable or roller guide ring are not installed securely, this could cause a rattling noise. If the light bulb needs to be replaced, if it is not screwed in securely, or if the microwave is not connected to a dedicated 20-amp outlet that is functioning properly, this could cause the bulb to flicker.
