Screen flickering

When playing games, my phone will start a rapid screen flickering. It doesn't happen every time, but several times a day. It stops only when I hit the back arrow or turn it off. I would like to be assured that this is not damaging. The phone is less than 3 weeks old. Please advise whether this can be ignored or do I need service or do I need to exchange it for another?.

Question

Synchronized Contacts

I'm running Android Version 4.3. In Settings under Accounts if I select Samsung Account the first piece of information is about synchronizing. Does that mean that all of my contacts are synched somewhere in my Samsung account and if so where would that be?

We are happy to assist. If you have selected to allow your Samsung Account back up your contacts, then they will periodically sync to your account. This will keep a copy for you in your account. You are unable to access your back up Contacts unless downloaded to a device or through Kies.

unlock phone galaxy s3 and note 2 from T-mobile

hi I request the pin unlock network for T-Mobile I recibe the e-mail whit instrucctions and I try but the pin don't work what can I do. The galaxy s3 and the note 2 have andrid 4.3 and I use a sim card for At-t and Sprint both has active any other way the unlock the phones?

The kit kat on the Motorola phone will never be like a Samsung phone. Moro g has stock kit kat while gs3 has touchwiz.

Question

WiFi Connected, Internet browsing is fine, some Apps aren't. Why!?

When I connect to WiFi at home. Facebook App cannot update newsfeeds, load pictures, etc. Instagram won't load pictures... Play store downloads just linger and never start. Browsing the internet while on WiFi is fine. Used my speed test app and lightening speeds.

Turn off WiFi and and use 4G... and everything works! Why!?

We apologize for the frustration over being able to access your apps without any problems whilst on 4G, but not on WiFi. That can be quite the nuisance! Here are a few questions that you may want to answer in your quest for an answer to this unusual symptom:

- Have you tried other WiFi access points? If so, do the apps work?
- Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the affected apps?
- As a last resort, you can always try factory resetting the device. Please visit http://www.samsung.com/us for instructions specific to your device.

If the answer to question one is yes, then there may be a firewall conflict with your access point. Please make sure that your security settings are not restricting access to these applications.

Unfortunately, USB Mass Storage is a feature that is no longer supported. In the earlier days, one could simply plug their phone into the USB port of a radio to play their MP3s, which is still possible to a certain extent.

We do apologize for the frustration, but we cannot provide you with detailed instructions on how to bypass the now defunct USB Mass Storage, as it involves the use of third party applications.

As an alternative, may we suggest utilizing an aux cord (If applicable)?

Greetings Abeydoun,

Diagnosing the root cause of your phone continuously freezing up would be difficult, considering we are unaware of when it freezes up (Is there a pattern?), and how it freezes up (Does the display change prior?). Here are a few possibilities as to why it is freezing however:

- If the device has been subjected to water damage, it can cause permanent damage to the hardware
- If the device has been introduced to voltage beyond the recommendation (Electro mechanical stress), it can cause permanent damage to the hardware
- A viable possibility is that the Android OS has a corrupted file, which causes the phone to freeze when an access is attempted

What I would recommend at this point, is to contact us via one of our media channels, or by phone (888-987-4357), so that we can properly troubleshoot the device. If we are unable to resolve it via one of the aforementioned communications, we can certainly look into sending the device into the repair center for an analysis.

For a now solution, I would recommend downloading Samsung Kies, and following this guide to restore the OS: http://bit.ly/13t0VLY

Be warned, the above guide can and will delete all of your personal information from the device.

This allows you to pull the information if you need to restore it to a Samsung device. You will not be able to access it from the Samsung website.

After you downloaded the latest firmware, also make sure you are trying to connect with your firewall and anti-virus disabled. If you are attempted to connect to Kies also make sure you have a least 50% battery life.
