Why doesn't the software update work with a Mac computer??

I have a Samsung Galaxy S 4G with T-mobile. I really need to download the 2.2 version. I have the 2.1 version and I am hating my phone right now because it is SO slow.

You may try performing a soft reset on the phone as a basic troubleshooting step to fix it, by taking out the battery for at least 15-30 seconds, then put the battery back in again and turn it back on to refresh the software.

How may I sink my contacts?

I have saved my contacts to my t-mobile contact backups on my phone. I have tried to sinc them to the sim card but have not been able or sinc them to my gmail account. Please help.

Please follow the steps provided below for the steps on how to display all the contacts saved on your phone, sim card and other accounts.

1. From the home screen, tap Contacts
2. Press the Menu button
3. Select Display options
4. Tap on the accounts you want to show the contacts you want to syn with your gmail account.

After displaying the contacts on your phone, you may use the steps provided below in synchronizing the contacts on your phone with your gmail account.

1. From the home screen, touch Application
2. Select Settings
3. Select Accounts and sync
4. Tap your gmail account

Please try to do a soft reset to check if it would work.
Soft Reset: Turn of the phone. Remove and put back the battery for at least 10-15 seconds.

Question

Low memorie

I am having problems tyo download new apps because it runs out of memorie. Due that when it dopwnloads does it directly to the phone and after that is that I can move it to the SD card, and the phone memorie es full and the apps that aren the phone I cant move them to the SD card. Please let me know how can I eather download directly to the SD card or erase apps that I dont use and are imposible to delete like amazon MP3 and other apps that I just dont use and I am not interested in having. Thanks for your time and I hope you can help. Beside that it is an awsome product... way better than Iphon, good job.

There is no configurable option to transfer applications to your memory card. We apologize for any inconvenience this may present.

Preloaded application on the phone cannot be deleted such as the Amazon MP3 on your Samsung phone.

Regarding your concern for having a low memory, we highly recommend you to transfer your media files like pictures, videos, musics on your memory card.

To move media files such as video, pictures or music files from phone memory to SD card, please follow the steps below.

DCIM is the default location for pictures or video taken by the device. These files are actually stored in the DCIM folder location.

1. From the home screen, touch Application
2. Select Files
3. Select DCIM
4. Tap on Camera
5. Press the Menu button and then select Move
6. Select all the pictures and videos you want to move from the internal memory to the SD card
7. Select SD card/ external SD card
8. Tap on Move.

(For Music)

1. From the home screen, touch Application
2. Select Files
3. Select Music
4. Press the Menu button and then select Move
5. Select all the songs you want to move from the internal memory to the SD card
6. Select SD card/ external SD card
7. Tap on Move.
