Why does the screen of my Samsung gravity T always freeze up?

Out of many occurances, I realized that if there are water vapors, The screen always freezes up or just stops working in the correct manner. I'm wondering if you have sloved This problem yet.

Hello and thanks for contacting us! I suggest trying a soft reset to fix the issue:

1. Remove the battery
2. Wait 2 minutes
3. Replace battery
4. Reboot your phone

If you intend to remove icons from the home screen, you can just tap and drag the icon into the widget bar. However, if you want to delete icons on the menu screen, there will be no configurable options to delete the icons as these are preloaded applications on the phone.

For you to assign and create speed dial numbers on the Samsung Gravity® Touch (SGH-t669), please follow the steps below:

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Tap the pulldown menu in the upper-right corner and select Speed Dial.
3. Tap a desired unassigned Speed Dial number.
4. Tap a name from the list of Contacts. If more than one number exists for that contact, tap a desired contact number.

To use the speed dial functionality, simply launch the Dialer from the Home screen or the Main Menu and then tap and hold the desired Speed Dial number assignment.

Regarding about your concern, upon checking the specifications and settings on the Samsung Gravity® Touch (SGH-t669), the phone does not support the ability to communicate via Wi-Fi. It does not support Wi-Fi connectivity.

I am trying to figure out how to have the phone on vibrations setting for messages, silent on the keyboard and ring if a phone call comes in.

It seems that if it is on vibrate mode everything is that way. I can't figure out how to cutomize the setting based on whether it is a phone call or message.

Regarding your concern there is an option on how you can put your phone to vibrate and no keypad tone at the sametime when you`re composing a text message, you can identify message tone from incoming calls by setting a specific ringtone to your message tone and incoming calls.
Please follow these steps below:

From the Home screen, press Menu
Tap Applications > Files
Navigate to the exact location of the desired audio track and tap on it. It will begin playing.
Tap Set As > Ringtone

To disable the keypadtone:

From the Home screen, press Menu
Tap Settings > Sound Profiles
Tap the Edit icon next to Normal
Tap the pulldown menu in the upper-right corner and select Phone
Under Keypad Tone, you may select either Beep or Glossy
Under Phone Sound Volume, you may slide the control all the way to level 0 to disable all touchscreen and keypad sounds.
Tap Save to retain changes

Thank you for your correspondence. The error message is indicates that the image pixel is too large which is why you can't zoom the image and the phone has a limited picture pixels.

I have two questions

1) I want to unlock some of the default installed games and apps to delete them.
2) Can you provide or recommend a preferably free MMS app so I can get free email with purchasing a data plan from my provider, I already have unlimited messaging. I know your phone supports MMS and my daughter's samsung phone supports MMS email. I want this feature on my phone.

Question

USB data connection issue.

When I try to transfer files from my PC to my phone, using either "Mass Storage" or "PC Studio", everything looks OK. Both the PC and phone show the connection, but after the file has been transferring for a minute the PC says that the phone has been disconnected. The phone still indicates that it is connected. I also noticed that in "Mass Storage" mode the connection was painfully slow. It about 5 minutes for the device to appear in "My Computer" and another 5 minutes to open it.

Thank you for your inquiry. Once you drop a widget onto the Home screen, tap the Widget bar tab, then press, hold and drag the widget back to the Widget bar. The widget will drop back into the bar in the new location.
