Thank you for your inquiry.

For you to connect the phone to the computer and transfer music files, it would require you to have a compatible USB data cable and also download on your computer the driver for the SGH- T669 handset, which is the Samsung New PC Studio.

For you to download the Samsung New PC Studio on your computer:
1. Deactivate the antivirus and firewall on your computer.
2. Open the web browser and then log on to this link:

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/supportDownloadCenter.do?prd_ia_cd=N0000005&prd_mdl_cd=SGH-T669AAATMB&prd_mdl_name=SGH-T669

3. Click on the software tab and then download the compatible driver for the type of OS on your computer.
4. Save the driver on your desktop.
5. Once download is complete, double click on the EXE file and click on Run.
6. Follow the procedure to install it.

Set the Samsung Gravity® Touch (SGH-t669)’s PC Connections setting accordingly:

1. From the Home screen, press Menu.
2. Tap Settings > Phone Settings > PC Connections > New PC Studio.
3. On your PC or laptop, launch Samsung's New PC Studio application.
4. Connect the Gravity T to the computer using a supported USB data cable.
5. If not already selected, in NPS click on the Media Manager.
6. From the music library in NPS, right-click on a desired music track and select Send To Device > T669.

The Samsung Gravity Touch (SGH-T669) supports only the use of MicroSDHC (High Capacity) as its external storage card. The Maximum size of the card would be 16GB.

For you to turn of the touch tone and the keypad tone on your Samsung Gravity Touch (SGH-T669), please follow the steps below:

1. From the Home screen, press Menu
2. Tap Settings > Sound Profiles
3. Tap the Edit icon next to Normal
4. Tap the pulldown menu in the upper-right corner and select Phone
5. Under Keypad Tone, you may select either Beep or Glossy
6. Under Phone Sound Volume, you may slide the control all the way to level 0 to disable all touchscreen and keypad sounds.
7. Tap Save to retain changes.

Try to insert the SIM Card to another phone with the same carrier and use a different T-Mobile SIM card on the phone to isolate the issue between the phone and the SIM card.

If the SIM card itself is not working, we recommend you to call your service provider for replacement SIM.

Can I change the default for where picture messages are saved?

My phone always tells me my picture message memory is full. Is there a way to change the default for where the messages are saved to my memory card because the only way I can send a picture message is if I erase almost all of the phone's memory, and that is ridiculous.

While in capture mode, touch the screen at any time to configure Camera Options:

1. Tap on the gear icon on the left side of the camera screen.
2. Tap on Storage.
3. Select Memory card.
4. Press back key or Home key.

You may try doing the soft reset on the phone by taking out the battery for at least 10-15 seconds and then put the battery back in and evaluate it. If it's still not working and still doing the same thing, you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.

Please refer to the steps provided below to access the battery from your handset.
Opening the back cover:
>>If necessary, switch off the phone by holding down until the power-off image displays.
>>Remove the cover by pulling up on the slot, then lift the cover up and off the phone.
>>Pull up on the slot
>>Lift the cover up>>and off the phone
To take out the battery:
>>Use the notch to lift up the bottom of the battery and lift out away from the phone
>>Gently place the top side of battery in first until the contacts line up and then place the bottom side firmly into place until it's flat against the battery compartment.

Is your picture message still saved on the Samsung Gravity® Touch (SGH-t669)?

Regarding your concern, upon checking the specifications and settings on the SGH-T669 handset, we can only save picture message that you received as a picture message template or saved the message itself as a Memo.

We recommend checking: Menu > Messaging > Templates > Picture message template -Or- you may check the Memo application on the phone.

There are a few ways to transfer audio files to the Gravity T. refer to the steps below to guide you through the process

Mass Storage Mode

Checkpoints

Ensure that a memory card has been installed before proceeding with this section. Click here for more information.
Set the Gravity T's PC Connections setting accordingly:
From the Home screen, press Menu
Tap Settings > Phone Settings > PC Connections > Mass Storage
Connect the Gravity T to a PC or laptop using a supported USB data cable.
When the Removable Disk pop-up appears on PC, select "Open Folder To View Files" and then click OK
The next window will show the contents of the memory card installed in the Gravity T. This allows you to transfer audio files from your PC to the Gravity T, either through cut/copy and paste or drag and drop methods.

Samsung's New PC Studio Software (NPS)

On your PC or laptop, launch Samsung's New PC Studio application
Connect the Gravity T to the computer using a supported USB data cable
If not already selected, in NPS click on the Media Manager
From the music library in NPS, right-click on a desired music track and select Send To Device > T669

Bluetooth

Important Note: Bluetooth software on computers can vary dramatically. The steps below are to be considered for general purposes only. Consult the documentation provided by the manufacturer of your computer or other desired Bluetooth device. Also, this method requires that both devices support the FTP Bluetooth profile.

Ensure that Bluetooth on the Gravity T is turned on and discoverable. Click here for more information.
On the sending device, locate the desired audio file for transfer and initiate the send.
The transfer will begin. If you receive any errors or the transfer never begins, repeat these steps ensuring along the way that both device are paired and connected properly.

There's no configurable option for you to sync your Samsung Gravity T (SGH-T669) with your MacBook Pro using its software. The phone is a Windows Based handset and the only option for you to transfer media files between two devices is by the use of a memory card on the phone and a memory card reader that you can connect on your computer.

Are you trying to transfer media files from your phone to the computer such as picture, music and videos? if you are please follow the steps below :

To set it to mass storage :
Press Menu
Tap Settings > Phone Settings > PC Connections
Samsung PC Studio
Use the SGH-T669 with Samsung's New PC Studio software to access the internal memory.

Ask On Connection
A prompt will show on the display letting you choose how to connect with a PC.

Mass Storage
Access an installed memory card in the SGH-T669 to transfer files between the device and a PC.

Connect the Gravity T to a PC using the supported data cable.
The phone will display a "Connected" message. The PC will show a new drive letter in My Computer.
On the PC, open the new drive letter and drag/drop or copy/paste content into this window

When you activate the Command Bar feature and open the phone to landscape mode, a configurable shortcut bar displays. There are three fixed applications displayed, Messaging, Contacts, and Calendar. You can also add two additional applications to the Command Bar.

Note: The phone must be open to landscape mode to view the Command Bar.

1. From the Home screen, press Menu, and then touch Settings ➔ Command Bar.
2. Touch On to active the Command Bar or Off to deactivate the shortcut bar.

For you to change the Command Bar Settings on Samsung Gravity® Touch (SGH-t669):
1. Open the phone and rotate it into the landscape position. The Command Bar displays on the bottom of the screen.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch the arrows next to Messaging, Web2go, or Google Maps to add the selection to the Command Bar or touch Tap to add to add a custom application.
– Or –
4. Touch the add icon (with a plus sign) and add an application.
5. Touch Home when you are finished.
