If it's still not working and still doing the same thing, you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.
At your earliest convenience, please call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. To get the Ring back Tone for the phone you may have to contact your service provider which is T-Mobile. You may call up their Customer Care Support toll free number at 1-800-937-8997.
I am familiar with scrolling on a touchscreen as I have a IPOD Touch. I find the Gravity T near impossible to scroll. At each touch to scroll the item I touch is selected. The phone does not seem to be operating correctly. Either the touch time is to short or some other issue with the touchscreen. How do I get this problem resolved? Second request for assistance! I am about to return the phone!

Hi maare!
Thank you for taking the time to inform us of the many issues concerning your Samsung product. We always appreciate hearing from our customers, as your comments are vital for us to continue improving our products, as well as our business.
We will forward your feedback along to the concerned parties for further review and consideration.
We are unable to speculate when/if a software revision with this feature might be available due to the fact that this might lead to inaccurate information and confusion.
You may also download an application on the phone using your favorite search engine on your computer that is compatible with the Samsung Gravity® Touch (SGH-T669). We do not support the use of 3rd party applications and services with any of our devices. For this reason, we do not have information compiled on possible resources.
Thank you again for your comments. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you.
What do I do when my phone keeps showing "connection failed"?
The message pops up when the phone attempts to check my e-mail. I deleted the e-mail account and went through the set-up again, but this did not fix anything. Internet service is active. Please advise.

Why can't I have one number dialing for my family like I did on my other T mobile phone?
For instance, I use to push 1 and I would get my husband without dialing.

Whenever I try to access my contacts on my home screen, it doesn't work! Every single time I try, all that shows up is this box that says, "Mobile Backup: Initializing." The contacts still work, but only if I go on "Dialer" first. It's so annoying! What do I do?!

Hi there!
Thank you for your inquiry.
When you access the Phonebook for the first time, or if you use another SIM card in this phone, the Mobile Address Book feature copies the information stored on your SIM card to the phone’s memory and synchronizes with the T-Mobile network. T-Mobile backs up your Contacts list the first time you turn on your phone and each time you make a change to the address book.
1. From the Home screen, touch Contacts -> More. 2. Touch Mobile backup. 3. Touch one of the following options: *Last sync: displays information about the last Mobile backup synchronization you performed. -Sync: Touch to begin synchronizing your address book with Mobile Backup. -Detail: Touch to see details including Sync date, Sync time, Sync result, and Number of items synced.- -Back: Displays the previous screen. * About mobile backup: displays help information about the Mobile Backup feature.
You have the option to view contacts by going to the phonebook settings. The Phonebook settings menus allow you to choose where your contacts are saved.
Available options are: View and Save to From this menu you can decide how you want to view or save contacts. *View contacts from This option allows you to view all the contacts stored on the Phone, SIM, or All. 1.
