Thanks for your question!

Regarding your concern, please try to pull and replace the battery for a few minutes. Then try to clear your browser cache/data and try to uninstall any apps that you don't use, or move them to your SD card.

The Gravity Smart phone has very limited space, the only real option is to root the phone and remove the apps that come automatically on the phone that you have no real need for. You can also make sure that all pictures are placed on the sd card and make sure that any apps you have installed are on the SD card as well.

I think there is a bug with this build of the phone. When I install a 18Mb app it seems to install on the SD card, that's what Settings, Applications, Manage shows. When I study my memory I see the 18Mb deducted from the phone memory. Using an app like DIskUsage or browsing the SD card I see the 18Mb used on SD.

An application when installed takes phone memory yet gets installed to the SD card. In my opinion, this bug leads to all our memory issues since it takes internal memeory for apps that are installed on SD card. Worse, if you move the app to phone it takes up 2X the memory.

You see this best with Large apps like coPilot Live anything over 10Mb is easy to spot this.

I had this same question for a really long time, and it took me forever and a day to find the answer. People kept misunderstanding saying how to free up internal memory etc etc, but the question is why can't I install something on the SD CARD when there is 2gb available?

Heres why: The way the installing applications works on this phone, is that when you are in the market and find an application, once you choose to download it, it begins to download the file into the internal memory. **

**This is irregardless of whether you chose to install it onto SD card or onto phone, while the download is taking place, it must go into the internal memory. This is because in order to be installed, the file must be in the internal memory.**

After it is done installing, it will then transfer all the files to the SD card, if you chose that as the installation destination. Sooo... the problem then arises.... If you have 20 MB available on internal memory, and try to install a 30 MB file onto the SD Card (which has 2GB free), you get the error message that there is insufficient space to install the application.

This combined with the number of useless apps that cannot be deleted from the internal memory makes this phone pretty ridiculous. Why have a 2 GB sd card if you can't install apps onto it? Ugh can't wait till my upgrade comes available.

Hope this helps!

Goto Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>

from there you'll see several options you should usually start with those items that have been downloaded and when you tap on one it'll load a screen that has several options, one of those should say "Move to SD Card" if it's greyed out then it's not available to be moved, or if it says "Move to Phone" it's already on the SD card. the only other option is to check and make sure that your pictures have been placed on the SD card as well as if you take lots of pictures they can easily take up lots of space pretty quickly.

Hi there!

Most people now maintain multiple email accounts, social
networking logins, and other similar account information. For
example, a Facebook account login name might differ from a
corporate email account login because they are maintained
separately and for different groups of people.
This device can synchronize with multiple accounts (such as
Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Microsoft Exchange Google, or
T-Mobile). When you synchronize your phone with those
accounts, each account creates a separate contact entry in the
Contacts list.
If one of your contacts (Amy Smith) has a regular email account
that you maintain in Gmail, but also has a Facebook account
under her maiden and married name, as well as a Video! chat
account, when you merge those accounts into your Contacts list
you can join all of her entries and view the information in one
record.
Joining contact information makes sending messages easy. You
can select any account email address or information all from one
screen, versus searching multiple, individual screens to locate
the desired account information.

Hi there!

Thanks for your inquiry.

Wi-Fi (short for "wireless fidelity") is a term used for certain types of Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN). Wi-Fi communication requires access to an existing and accessible
Wireless Access Point (WAP). These WAPs can either be Open (unsecured) as within most Hot Spots, or Secured (requiring knowledge of the Router name and password).

Note: After you complete a connection to an active Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi
Activating Wi-Fi

By default, your device’s Wi-Fi feature is turned off (deactivated). Activating Wi-Fi allows your device to discover and connect to compatible in-range WAPs (Wireless Access Points).
1. Press ➔ and then tap (Settings) ➔Wireless and networks ➔ Wi-Fi settings.
2. Tap Wi-Fi to activate the feature. A checkmark indicates that Wi-Fi is active. The device scans for available in-range wireless networks and displays them under Wi-Fi networks
on the same screen.

Simply connect the SGH-t589 Gravity Smart to a PC or Mac with a supported USB data cable. On the phone's display, you will see 'USB Connected' with the green Android character.

On the device, tap "Turn On USB Storage". Tap OK if prompted. The Android character should now be orange.

PC
On the PC, click on 'Open Folders To View Files' on the Removable Disk prompt if it comes up. Otherwise, open My Computer and double-click the Removable Disk assigned to the device. You can now transfer files (drag and drop) between the device and your PC.

Mac
After connecting the device, click the icon on the desktop.
