Simply connect the SGH-t589 Gravity Smart to a PC or Mac with a supported USB data cable. On the phone's display, you will see 'USB Connected' with the green Android character.

On the device, tap "Turn On USB Storage". Tap OK if prompted. The Android character should now be orange.

PC
On the PC, click on 'Open Folders To View Files' on the Removable Disk prompt if it comes up. Otherwise, open My Computer and double-click the Removable Disk assigned to the device. You can now transfer files (drag and drop) between the device and your PC.

Mac
After connecting the device, click the icon on the desktop.

You can connect your device to a PC using an optional PC data
cable using various USB connection modes. Mass storage is the
default connection method.

Mass storage: allows you to use the onboard storage capacity of the
phone to store and upload files. This option allows your computer to
detect the phone as a removable storage drive.
Connecting as a Mass Storage Device
You can connect your device to a PC as a removable disk and
access the file directory. If you insert a memory card in the
device, you can also access the files directory from the memory
card by using the device as a memory card reader.

Note: The file directory of the memory card displays as a removable disk,
separate from the internal memory.

1. Insert a memory card into the device to transfer files from
or to the memory card.
2. Press to return to Idle mode.
3. Connect the multifunction jack on your device to a PC
using an optional PC data cable.
A pop-up window displays on the PC when connected.
4. Open the folder to view files.
5. Copy files from the PC to the memory card.

How can I save information to my sd card?

My phone keeps saying it is out of memory, however, my sd card has hardly anything on it. When I try to go in and save my apps and such on the sd card it won't allow me to do so. So what is the purpose of an sd card if it doesn't give me more memory space? Please help

How can i view my full contact list?

Everytime i click the contact icon i only see 8 contacts listed. If i go to my call log and try to save a contact it will show my full contact list but, after i save the new contact it will not show it. Even when i try to search it but, when i go back to my call log and go to save it will show the full contact list and the # i already saved?? Help please.
