Question

My phone screen says INSERT SIM CARD.

But it is already there and has been there since I got the phone. I cant do ANYTHING with it at all. Only Emergency SOS calls can be made. Please help. Can I get a new SIM Card?

Chances are that it's not, It doesn't happen often but it may come back on it's own. As far as I know there is no way to you can get this feature back. Call your provider, I'm sure that they will be happy to help you exchange your phone for a new one.

This is not uncommon with the 528. I know, it happened to mine. Although it's possible for your phone to open these feasures again, chances are that they won't and if they do, it could only stop again. Call your phone provider and I'm sure they will be happy to help you trade in your phone for a new one.

Sorry, but that can happen to anyone who doesn't use a pin or password often enough to remember it. I believe that you will need to contact your service provider for a new SIM card and and upon receiving
the new card, call and activate the new Sim. If your son decides to install a new password on the phone, have him use a code that means something to him. A word or very short phrase that installed using numbers instead of letters will help him to remember his password.

1. Power off
2. Remove the battery and leave it out for at least 30 seconds
3. Insert battery back into device
4. Power back on and evaluate

The difference between T528G and 528G GSM

Looking at upgrading my wifes phone from to a T528G and there are 2 models offered. The T528G which they show as not being compatible in my zip code and the 528G GSM which is compatible. The one compatible is $11.00 more and I don't see the differences for the $11.00.
