Question

i ea samsung model t528g cell phone

I puchased a new samsung t528g cell phone about a month and i am really upset. The touch screen is horrible, i have to touch the "on screen keyboard" letters mutiple times to get it to respond, the space bar can take 5 or 6 taps to get it to respond and the auto complete doesn't have all the words in it, it keeps correcting my spelling, offering a different word then what i want. How can you possibly be retailing this phone ? I am mad enough to go right to the attorney general about this. You know better.

Please try to do a soft reset on the phone by powering it off and removing the battery then placing it back again to reboot the handset.

Question

Phone keeps flashing the Select USB mode option. no matter what I do I cannot get rid of it.

I put a sd card in the phone but it still keeps flashing the "select usb mode" option. it 's driving me nuts cuz I can't use my phone when it does this.

Question

Buzzing noise or sounds like you lost call when talking on phone.

I will be talking on the phone and either i will have a buzzing noise or it has no sound, like if you loose a call. That is on my end the person on the other end can hear me like a normal call. I have to hang up and call them back. I am wondering if this is something that i am doing with out realizing it or is it the phone?
I have had a different phone and I never had a problem with service. I have full bars when this happens. I sent one phone back in and just received a new phone yesterday and had this happen yesterday. I dont understand why this is happening. Do i need to send it back and get another phone again?

The difference between T528G and 528G GSM

Looking at upgrading my wifes phone from to a T528G and there are 2 models offered. The T528G which they show as not being compatible in my zip code and the 528G GSM which is compatible. The one compatible is $11.00 more and I don't see the differences for the $11.00.

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Not that I'm aware of. There's a widgit tab about 2/3rds the way down the screen on the left side. Activation of this tab will show you the available widgits for your screens. If you touch the widgit you want removed, watch for the widgit to enlarge, indicating that it's ready to be moved, then slide the widgit all the way to the left on to the widgit menu. You'll see the widgit you moved shrink into the menu indicating that your widgit is now back in the menu and off your main screens. It's the opposite from activating a widgit from the menu.
