The hardware of the phone is manufactured by Samsung but the software and the programming of the device is solely incorporated and configured by your carrier. With this, your carrier has formed their own support group to assist you with your inquiries.

This is something that would be best addressed by your Service Provider. Please contact your Service Provider’s Customer Service Department for the resolution of this matter.

You can try installing a new SIM card and get it activated by your provider. If this fails to help and call your provider back and make arrangements to an exchange your old phone for a new one. I'm sure they will be happy to help.

When you press the > to open your widgets on your home screen you will see an icon at the very top (it looks like a list with a wheel beside it), if you press that icon it will take you to your widgets that are on your shortcuts tab...you may then check the items you wish you show on your widgets.

email login failure

i recently purchased the t528g and am pleased with it overall aside from the email setup. i started setup, and immediately received a login failure prompt, which took only 3kb however since then i have not attempted any logins, and when i pull up the main screen from being locked it will say login failure again.. now it is only 3kb, being deducted, but im not onunlimited plan, and i dodnt see why im being deducted kb's if im not trying to login?

I found this a little tricky at first too on my STRAIGHTTALK phone. This is what I do now. Make sure phone is powered on, plug the phone into the mini jack to computer, and then unlock it. When it goes to unlock, it brings up a notification that you can't have bluetooth and usb connections at the same time and then goes to a "connection" or "connected" screen that won't let you do ANYTHING on the phone except watch a circular icon that reminds me of the duracell battery (Black screen with bronze circle).

Everything you do on it has to be done from the computer. Its possible you need to update drivers/settings on your computer itself, but I never had to.

I have a 2gig microSD card, which I believe is all the computer interacts with. If you don't have a microSD card (upto 16gig as I recall, but not the fancy new HD variety), it may not work. I don't know that for sure though.
