Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Question

Buzzing noise or sounds like you lost call when talking on phone.

I will be talking on the phone and either i will have a buzzing noise or it has no sound, like if you loose a call. That is on my end the person on the other end can hear me like a normal call. I have to hang up and call them back. I am wondering if this is something that i am doing with out realizing it or is it the phone?
I have had a different phone and I never had a problem with service. I have full bars when this happens. I sent one phone back in and just received a new phone yesterday and had this happen yesterday. I dont understand why this is happening. Do i need to send it back and get another phone again?

Please try to do a soft reset on the phone by powering it off and removing the battery then placing it back again after a few minutes to reboot the handset.

how do I clear Text initializing

I'm unable to get into my messaging as when I hit the button it says initializing and does nothing after that. My contacts where the same way so I tried a soft reboot and it fixed the contacts but not the messaging. Any thought on how to fix this.

WHY DOESN'T PC STUDIO SUPPORT MY NEW T-528G, (and don't ask me to call, answer it here so everyone can see)?

I downloaded PC tools and got it working (kept crashing on 2 of my PCs). When I connect my T-528G, I get a message that the phone is not supported, yet the manual clearly states I can use PC Studio to manage my contacts. When will this be fixed?

My phone's messaging and contacts won't initialize. It's been like this for the past month. Please help.

I've tried taking out the battery for 5 minutes and put it back in, I've tried resetting my phone, and I've tried restoring it to factory specs. Nothing that I've been told has worked. Pleas tell me something that will.

Why trying to download my E-Mail onmy new Sasung Trackphone always I get a message LOGIN FAILED?

I'm a new user of StraightTalk. I have a Trackphone Samsung T528G. The E-Mail accounts from GMAIL were created but when is retrieving to download the messages always get a screen saying: LOGIN FAILED

Also I created an E-Mail account from netzero where I had to manualy input all the settings, and this one works perfect. For the GMAIL accounts they don't need configuration because they come already configurated. Is there any problem with the GMAIL accounts? Are they coming with bad configuration?

Hi CindiF,

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that you're trying to register your SGH-T528G on the registration page but it states that your IMEI is a wrong number. We do apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused you.

Samsung recommends using “Internet Explorer” for this process, as other browsers can encounter difficulties with serial number acceptance and other box field to fill up. You may follow the steps below to register your product on our website:

1. Go to http://www.samsung.com/us/support/register/product
2. Enter the model number of your phone on the "Enter Model Number or Model Name" field.
Note: The model code can be found at the back of the phone underneath the battery.
3. The "Log In to My Samsung” page would then appear. For non-existing Samsung account click on “Create a Samsung Account”. Fill out the necessary fields on the boxes and then click on Submit. For existing Samsung account, enter the registered Email account and password.
4. You will be prompted to enter the HEX/ IMEI number and this is will be the serial numbers. You can get the IMEI/HEX number underneath the battery and this number is always on the bar codes on the back of the phone. When entering your HEX/ IMEI, please do not include slashes or spaces. Additionally, there are no alpha O’s – those characters are zeroes.
IMEI- The IMEI is the numeric code that is 15 characters long. (For AT&T, T-Mobile, and GSM TracFone, Net10, and StraightTalk handsets, as well as generic GSM handsets)

Note: After filling the box with the HEX/IMEI number, do not press any key on the keyboard and wait for the website for a minute or two to accept the HEX/IMEI. Once it's been accepted, below the HEX/IMEI box field the manufactured date will be then displayed.
5. Fill out the other box fields and then click on "SUBMIT". The product should then be displayed on the "My Account" page once successfully registered.

Question

Need to change IMEI and serial number on replacement phone - and having same problem with new phone as with old.

Just received the new replacement phone today (Tuesday 1/22/2012) - need to register the new IMEI and Serial number - also have the same issue I had with the phone I sent back - I have to turn the speaker phone on to make or receive voice calls - it took over a week for the replacement phone to be returned via FedEx - just want a simple fix for the phone I have now - thanks.
