How to activate wi fi?

I was able to finally activate the wi fi on October 8th,2011. Today when I was using the wi fi, it stopped and now it is saying "unable to activate". How do I fix this and what is wrong with it?

Question

Why won't my T528g phone connect to PC Studio

I've tried PC Studio 7 and New PC Studio 1.5 and neither application will recognize my phone in PC Studio mode. I need to be able to sync the phone to Outlook to upload the calendar, tasks, and contacts from my old Palm or my Samsung phone will be less than useful to me. I read this is a "hidden" feature of StraightTalk phones; i.e. we are not supposed to be able to sync our phones. I hope that is not true.

Yes sorry to say that is true. when I called about the same problem spoke with Samsung and Straight talk. Samsung was as helpfull as could be and said that the phone was all good and that I needed to contact Straight Talk and they said that you could not down load anything to protect the phone

Question

Phone freezes during start-up at blue "A service of tracfone' screen

Yesterday it kept "initializing' so I took out the battery and sim card to try and restart it. This didn't help and eventually the battery died. Now that I've charged the battery and put it all back together, it won't turn on fully. It gets to this blue screen and freezes. It also freezes on the charging screen when I try to plug it in. This is a first for me. Did I mess something up when I took out the SIM card?

Why trying to download my E-Mail onmy new Sasung Trackphone always I get a message LOGIN FAILED?

I'm a new user of StraightTalk. I have a Trackphone Samsung T528G. The E-Mail accounts from GMAIL were created but when is retrieving to download the messages always get a screen saying: LOGIN FAILED

Also I created an E-Mail account from netzero where I had to manualy input all the settings, and this one works perfect. For the GMAIL accounts they don't need configuration because they come already configurated. Is there any problem with the GMAIL accounts? Are they coming with bad configuration?

What software do you have for this device to connect to a PC (win7 64)?

Tried pc studio, new pc studio, and kies. None of them will recognize this phone. It would be great to be able to transfer data such as contacts, music, etc.

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that you're trying to register your SGH-T528G on the registration page but it states that your IMEI is a wrong number. We do apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused you.

Samsung recommends using “Internet Explorer” for this process, as other browsers can encounter difficulties with serial number acceptance and other box field to fill up. You may follow the steps below to register your product on our website:

1. Go to http://www.samsung.com/us/support/register/product
2. Enter the model number of your phone on the "Enter Model Number or Model Name" field.
Note: The model code can be found at the back of the phone underneath the battery.
3. The "Log In to My Samsung” page would then appear. For non-existing Samsung account click on “Create a Samsung Account”. Fill out the necessary fields on the boxes and then click on Submit. For existing Samsung account, enter the registered Email account and password.
4. You will be prompted to enter the HEX/ IMEI number and this is will be the serial numbers. You can get the IMEI/HEX number underneath the battery and this number is always on the bar codes on the back of the phone. When entering your HEX/ IMEI, please do not include slashes or spaces. Additionally, there are no alpha O’s – those characters are zeroes.
IMEI- The IMEI is the numeric code that is 15 characters long. (For AT&T, T-Mobile, and GSM TracFone, Net10, and StraightTalk handsets, as well as generic GSM handsets)

Note: After filling the box with the HEX/IMEI number, do not press any key on the keyboard and wait for the website for a minute or two to accept the HEX/IMEI. Once it's been accepted, below the HEX/IMEI box field the manufactured date will be then displayed.

If the phone is manufactured here in the U.S., you may register it by following the steps provided below:

The hardware of the phone is manufactured by Samsung but the software and the programming of the device is solely incorporated and configured by your carrier. With this, your carrier has formed their own support group to assist you with your inquiries.
