Question

How do I activate my Bluetooth so that it turns on automatically in my car rather than my having to activate it each time I use my car?

The Bluetooth on my Samsung gravity is connected to my car and receives calls. However, each time I turn on the ignition, I have to separately turn on the already-activated Bluetooth. Can this happen automatically?

Hi Jordan57,

Thank you for your inquiry.

There are no configurable options to connect the Bluetooth of the phone to the car kit automatically. You have to turn on the phone's Bluetooth and then pair or establish the connection with the car kit every time you will be using it.

Hi amtownsend!

Thank you for your inquiry.

I highly suggest to have the Mass Storage Mode process of tranferring of music files between your phone and your personal computer. You will need no software for this procedure. And for this method, the handset's USB Mode must first be set to Mass Storage and a microSD memory card must be present by following the steps below:

1. Insert a microSD memory card into the memory card slot located on the left side
2. From standby press the Menu key
3. Select Settings (9)
4. Select Phone Settings (3)
5. Select USB Mode (5)
6. Highlight Mass Storage and press the Save key
7. Plug one end of the data cable into the handset's power/data port located on the right side and the other end into a USB port on the PC
8. On the PC, open My Computer and double-click on Removable Disk (Hint: it will be assigned a drive letter and, depending on system configuration, may not be the only Removable Disk present)
9. Using Windows Explorer, copy and paste (or drag and drop) MP3 files from your PC to the Music folder seen under Removable Disk

Should you desire additional assistance regarding this, we invite you to call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357 between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.
