Hi bowdav86!

Thank you for your inquiry.

Are you referring transferring music files from your computer to the microSD memory card inserted on the SGH-T404G handset?

Regarding about your concern, we do not have any information regarding about the connection of the SGH-T255G to your computer so that you can transfer music files.

However, we recommend contacting Trac Fone for the steps on how to transfer pictures from your phone to the computer. You can reach Trac Fone Customer Support at their toll free number 1-800-867-7183.

1. For the T404 to recognize the music it must be in MP3 format; if you want to use it for a ringtone, it may not be larger than 330KB.
2. Attach your microSD card to a adapter to emulate a full-size SD card, and plug it into your computer.
3. If the music is already on one of your memory devices, copy or move it to the SD card.
4. If you are downloading from the internet do not "SAVE" but "SAVE AS" in order to save it on the SD card.
5. When you are done, remove the SD card from your computer, remove the microSD card from the adapter and plug it into the T404.

Going into theses setting does not give you an option to change the PINK setting. It highlight your selection in PINK with white font, there is no setting to change this fucntion. Was it over looked? This is a setting I have found on all my previous phones. It wouldn't be bad if it was a netrual color! This is a big complaint if you check reviews on line. Will samsung come out with a fix for this?

Changing the setting to mass storage is only for pc to phone transfer. You actually have to turn the camera on then by using the soft keys(slide the phone open) to access the functions at the top of the screen such as zoom resolution etc. In one of those is an option to have photos moved to a memory card as a default option. Took me a while to find it. I have no idea why they burried it so far in the phone. Most of the time it is just a simple setting. Play round with it and you will find it. Hope this helps

You cannot use the power cord charger for an SD card. If you remove the back cover of your phone, you will see your SIM card. Underneath the SIM card connector is a slot that is for Micro SD cards. If you look very closely in the area of the SIM card connector, you will see imprinted on the plastic the word "micro sd" and an arrow indicating which direction the Micro SD card is to be installed.

Regarding your concern, what we can offer as passcode for the phone is either "0000" or "00000000". If these codes will not work, then you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.

At your earliest convenience, please call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

However, if you intend to unlock the phone for a different network carrier, you may call your Service Provider and ask for an 8-digit subsidy code (Network Control Key) and the instructions on entering this on the phone.

Hi DougM1!
Thank you for your inquiry.

Samsung has launched several initiatives in an effort to become an eco-friendly Company to “go green”. One such practice now in place is to eliminate the printing of hard copy User Manuals for our handsets. This is an ongoing project, and for this reason, we are no longer providing printed User Manuals upon request.
However, the user manual for your Samsung phone in PDF format is available for download from the Samsung Download Center. From the website which is www.samsung.com, simply enter the model or portion of the model number or name into the product search field to take you to the user manuals available.
Additionally, we encourage you toview the FAQ's for your device, as this provides step by step instructions for many popular features of your device.
Should you have additional questions concerning a specific feature of your device, please contact us anytime, as we would be happy to provide additional information.
You can also contact our Customer Care Center by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Hi jeccff!

Thank you for your inquiry.

For you to remove the SIM card on the SGH-T404G handset, please follow the steps below:

If necessary, switch off the phone by holding down the key until the power-off image displays.
1. Remove the battery cover by sliding it in the direction of the arrow.
2. Carefully lift the battery cover away from the bottom of the phone.
3. Lift up and remove the battery.
4. Carefully pull out the SIM card (the end part that is showing) from under the metal bracket.
