To copy or move a picture to a memory card, follow the steps below.

1. From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu.
2. Select My Folder (7).
3. Select Images (2).
4. Select either Photos (2) or Downloaded Images (3).
5. Highlight the desired picture, using the navigation keys, then press the OK button to View it.
6. Press the left soft key for Options.
7. Select either Move to Memory Card (6) or Copy to Memory Card (7).
8. Navigate to the desired location on the memory card then press the OK button to open.
9. Press the left soft key for Options.
10. Select either Move here (1) or Copy here (1).

Regarding about your concern, we cannot assist in unlocking the t401g Cell Phone (SGH-T401G) for use on another network. We hold a proprietary licensing agreement with your Service Provider and it would be in violation of this agreement to assist in unlocking the phone.

Trac Fone has these codes and should be able to provide support for this.

Please Note: Unlocking of the phone, although at the discretion of the service provider is possible, will void all Samsung warranties for support or service. Features that are available on the intended network may not be accessible on the alternate network. Features on the alternate network may not be available this phone as these features are not those of the network on which the phone was intended to be used, and therefore, are not programmed.

As to whether or not a phone of this type will be available for the network of your choice in the future, we are only able to provide information regarding models that are currently on the market for sale, as any pre-release information would be subject to change and could therefore be inaccurate at the time of launch.

How do I get sounds on my samsung sgh-t401g?

I've put ringtones on my phone but none of them will go into the sounds folder where i want them to go. I've tried to save them to my sounds but i don't know how. There is nothing in my sounds folder to play and I cant put anything in there either....How do I put sounds into the sounds folder?

To transfer MP3 files from a memory card follow the steps below:
From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
Select My Folder
Select Memory Card
Navigate to the location of the MP3 files
Highlight any MP3 file then press the left soft key for Options
Select either Move to or Copy to
Select Phone
Highlight each desired MP3 file then press the OK button to check their boxes
Press the left soft key to Move or Copy the MP3 files to the phone
NOTE: MP3 files larger than 300KB cannot bet set as Ringtones

Can I reset or delete the memory?

I have a problem with a memory area related to photo. When I try to take a new picture, the mobile goess off. Also it goes off whenver I try to view saved photos. But I can access other files like music and rings. Is there any way to reset or delete the memory? I think some file structure has been damaged.

You may try to remove and reinstall those files again on your handset. And for that, please check the bit rate of the song that should be with 320kbps bit rate. Please make sure of the folder location where you save those music files so that the phone will recognize the file.

Is there a firmware upgrade for this model?

I have connected my phone to my computer but all of the features do not work (such as file transfer). I took the computer in and 3 different places stated the phone was incompatible with Windows 7.

Regarding your concern, due to Samsung's policy with repairs, any damage encountered to the phone through water or other liquids can and in most cases will cause corrosion to the inner workings of the handset. In these circumstances, it is no longer feasible to attempt to repair the phone; consequently, the phones received in this condition into our North Texas repair facilities are shipped back to the customer un-repaired. If you have insurance through your service provider please contact them for a possible replacement phone. Also, if you purchased the phone with a credit card most companies offer buyers protection. Contact your Credit Card Company to inquire about this program.

For you to connect the t401g Cell Phone (SGH-T401G) to computer via Bluetooth and transfer music files, please follow the steps below:

Note: Both Bluetooth devices MUST support Bluetooth FTP (File Transfer Profile).

On the Samsung phone:
1. While in standby mode, turn Bluetooth On.
Menu > Settings > Bluetooth > Turn Bluetooth On
2. Change the phone’s Bluetooth visibility to On
Menu > Settings > Bluetooth > My Visibility > Highlight On > OK

On the PC:
1. Connect the Bluetooth adaptor to the PC’s USB port.
2. Search for Bluetooth devices.
3. Select the device to pair with the PC.
4. Exchange PIN code(s) on both the PC & phone to pair devices (default pass code is “0000”).
5. Using My Bluetooth Places, select File Transfer to view the phone’s contents.
6. Copy the desired music file.
7. Paste the file in a PC destination.

Note: For information or assistance related to configuration, specifications and instructions of the Non-Samsung device please contact the manufacturer of said device.

Question

Samsung T105G TracFone

Just bought this phone and my 2 yr old got ahold of it now the phones says "Enter PUK". What does this mean and how do I get rid of it? I have not even activated the phone yet. I tried to turn it off and then back on as well as take the battery out for 5 minutes and put it back in and it still wont go off the screen and there is nothing else that I can do on the phone.

PUK means Pin Unlock Key and it is required to unlock Pin when Pin is entered 3-10 times incorrectly. PUK is saved on the SIM card.
You need to contact your service provider to get the PUK.
Note: If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times in a row, your SIM card will be invalidated, and you will need to purchase a new SIM Card. The phone will display the following error: "PUK blocked call operator."

Bluetooth

Can you please tell me why I can't connect my bluetooth enabled phone to my computer. I have a laptop running windows xp pro with a bluetooth doogle connected via usb. It can't detect my phone and my phone can't find it even with discovery allowed, updated drivers and software loaded.
Please tell me what I can do to allow my pphone to connect to my pc so I can transfer music to my phone.

You may try doing the soft reset on the phone by taking out the battery for at least 10-15 seconds and then put the battery back in and evaluate it. And you may also try to reboot your computer to refresh its programming. You may also check the manufacturer of the bluetooth device or of the computer so that you have support assistance regarding this. If it's still not working and still doing the same thing, you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.
