Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

How do I disable data downloads?

I just got this phone, and every other button tries to connect to the internet. I do not have a data plan, so this is extremely expensive. Even if I immediately disconnect, it still charges me a little each time. How can I disable all data features, so that I cannot incure any additional charges?

You may try performing a soft reset on the phone as a basic troubleshooting step to fix it, by taking out the battery for at least 15-30 seconds, then put the battery back in again and turn it back on to refresh the software.

how do I unlock a phone freeze

Phone: Samsung Gravity-T from T-mobile

I had tried to unclock the phone after an unlock code was given to me by T-mobile. The code was wrong and after several attempts I got a 'phone freeze - sim card not available' message.
I called t-mobile, who gave me a correct code, and an 11-digit "samsung unluck code".
I tried to enter the samsung unlock code and got the message "phone freeze deactivate failed"

My question: How exactly should the samsung unlock code be used? Should the phone have a sim card in it or not? If so can it be a de-activated t-moble sim card or an active ATT?

Question

How do I connect this phone to New PC Studio?

i have downloaded New CP Studio and installed it. I have tried to conect the phone with the usb cable and the software does not recognize it. I have tried to connect it with the bluetooth and it sees the phone and has it on the list, but when I try to connect it it gives me an error mesage that says it is an unregistered device and communication has been stopped. I need help getting this device connected.
