Please go to the internet site of the browser then launch the youtube site. If the browser of the network will not allow to launch the site then it means that the browser is not compatible with the flash player version of the said website.

The manual mentions Quadband just once and does not provide any details as far as I can see. This website does not mention it at all. Will the phone work in Europe or Asia?

Yes, the phone will work overseas. And to use it overseas, you need to get this phone unlocked. Right now your phone is currently network locked to its previous provider & only its SIM card is going to work. If you need to network unlocked it, you will need to call your current service provider to get the 8 digit network control key (NCK). The NCK code is only available & can only be requested from your service provider. And once you have the NCK code, I would also suggest you to call us to unlock your phone. We have the tool to unlock your phone, however you need to get the NCK code first from your service provider.

how do i use email capabilities?

in the manual, section 2, p.12, says phone has email capabilities. where in manual does it show us how to use that? can we configure it to get/send web mail? am tmobile prepaid and have web daypass, not monthly web subscription.

Mobile versions of popular web-based email services, such as Google Mail, Yahoo! Mail, and Hotmail, can be accessed through the SGH-T369 Column's web browser. Simply launch the browser from the Home screen by pressing Menu > web2go > Enter URL, entering the website address, and pressing Go.

The software compatible with the SGH-T369 (Column) handset is the SAMSUNG New PC Studio. Try to download the driver from SGH-T359 model; nothing to worry about, it is still the same software.

If you wish to continue, you may use the link below for you to easily download the software.

NOTE: This software is only compatible with Win 2000/XP/Vista/Win7

Here are the steps how you can connect the phone to computer using the software:

ON PHONE:

Select Menu > Settings > Personalize (1) > Phone Settings (3) > USB Mode (3) > Samsung PC Studio > Save

ON PC:

1. Launch the Samsung New PC Studio software application
2. Connect the Column device to a PC using a supported USB data cable
3. When the SGH-T369 icon is displayed click on it
4. You can now copy/paste (drag and drop) files between your PC and the Column

If your handset is indicating "phone lock" as you turn the phone on, what we can advise as passcodes are "0000" or "00000000". If these codes will not work, then you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.

At your earliest convenience, please call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

However, if you intend to use the phone with a different carrier/network, then you would need to contact your service provider as they can help you obtain a subsidy code (network control key). Once you were given a code by your network provider, they will also be giving you steps on how you could unlock the phone from your current network.

If the phone gets wet in the rain is it covered under the warranty?

While standing outside in the rain last week my phone got wet when I had to make a call to find a ride home. I'm guessing thats what is wrong with it sense the screen went white yesterday. Is this covered under the warranty?

In these circumstances, it is no longer covered by your warranty with Samsung. I have a USB cable to plug the phone into my computer and can get the computer to recognize the MicroSD card I have but can't figure out how to load contact data.

To following steps will help the computer to recognize the MicroSD card :

Insert the MicroSD card on the phone.
Ensure that USB Mode on the SGH-T369 (Column) is set to Mass Storage.

From the Home screen, select Menu > Settings > Personalize > Phone Settings > USB Mode.

Connect the Column to a PC using a supported USB data cable
If prompted on PC, select "Open folders to view files" and then click OK
You can now copy/paste (drag and drop) files to and from your PC

If both phone's connection to PC is unsuccessful, kindly try to check the following....

> Try using a different USB port (if using a desktop PC, please try to connect the USB data cable at the back port of the CPU)
> Restart the PC and soft reset the phone (turn off and remove the battery for about a minute and put it back in the phone and turn it on again)
> Make sure that the USB cable is samsung genuine accessory
> Try using a different USB cable
> Try to check the removable storage through the "My Computer"
> Disable or turn off the bluetooth connection of the phone

Bluetooth and Ford Fiesta Sync

My Samsung SGH-T369 phone will pair with the Sync system but when I try to make a call using the sync system I can see the phone making the call but you can not use the handsfree feature of sync. The Sync system always shows the call ended but on the phone the call is still going through.

When creating text msg remove sound, picture, video area row to give more area to see text msg

When u type a text message using the qwerty keyboard there are only 2 rows of text showing at a time. U can actually see more text if u use the numeric keyboard option. Is there a way to get rid of the part that is right below the text box that contains the add sound, pic, or video option as I won't be using that and would prefer 3 rows of text?

Here are the steps on how to manually set the time of the phone.
1. From the Home screen, Menu > Settings > Personalize > Time And Date
2. With the Time Zone Updating option highlighted, use the right or left navigation keys to toggle Automatic or Manual Only
3. With the Manual Only setting, you can adjust the Time Zone, Time, and Date fields
4. Press Save to retain changes

Hi, we actually don’t know if the sgh-t369 has the online T-Mobile Address book shortcut loaded on the device. I believe there is a way of getting this and you will need to contact T-Mobile to have access on this. And it could be a paid service through them. I advise you to contact them regarding the online T-Mobile address book and how to get this to work.

My screen is white, how do I fix it?

It turned that way over night. There has been no water damage. But when i slid it open it is still white. I tried taking the battery out and letting it "rest" but that also didnt work.
