Thank you for your inquiry.
Hi, there are actually 3 ways or methods on how to download music from your PC to the phone.
The first one would be via PC Studio, it is a software that we developed and you can get this for free on www.samsung.com/us. Once you are on the website, just type the model number of your phone on the search field. And under support and downloads or software just click on the lick to begin downloading of the software. You will be using a USB cable on this method and make sure that the USB mode on your phone is set to Modem. Second method would be via Mass Storage, you will need the USB cable and a micro SD card for this. The USB mode should be set to Mass Storage. And finally is via Bluetooth, you will need to connect your phone to a PC that is Bluetooth compatible as well.
Here let me show you how all the 3 methods works.
New Samsung PC Studio
To transfer MP3 files, from a PC, to the SGH-T359 handset memory follow the steps below:
Plug one end of the data cable into the handset's power/data port located on the left side and the other end into a USB port on the PC
Open the New Samsung PC Studio application
The SGH-T359 icon will now appear in the upper right corner of the display
Double click on the My Computer icon, located in the top left corner
Navigate to and click on any folder that contains the MP3 files to be transferred
Double click on the SGH-T359 icon and ensure that the Music folder contents are shown
Drag n drop or copy and paste the MP3 files from the PC into the handset's Music folder (For multiple files hold down the Crtl key)
In the pop-up window, PC Studio will show the file being transferred
After the MP3 file(s) are transferred, click OK
After the file transfer is complete it is safe to disconnect the data cable from both devices
WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE MP3 FILE TRANSFER

Note: Files transferred with PC Studio 3 are copied directly to the handset's internal memory storage (Music Folder) and not to the memory card if it's present during the transfer.
Note: The instructions below assume a micro SD memory card has previously been inserted as well as formatted by the handset to create the necessary folders
WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE MP3 FILE TRANSFER
To transfer MP3 files, from a PC, to the SGH-T359 handset's memory card follow the steps below:
Plug one end of the data cable into the handset's power/data port located on the left side and the other end into a USB port on the PC
On the PC, open My Computer and double-click on the new Removable Disk (Hint: it will be assigned a drive letter and, depending on system configuration, may not be the only Removable Disk present)
Using Windows Explorer, copy and paste (or drag and drop) MP3 files from the PC into the Music folder located under the new Removable Disk
After the file transfer is complete it is safe to disconnect the data cable from both devices
Bluetooth
Note: Both devices must support Bluetooth FTP (File Transfer Profile)
To transfer MP3 files, from another Bluetooth device to the SGH-T359 handset, via Bluetooth follow the steps below:
Pair the SGH-T359 handset with the other Bluetooth device
Using Windows explorer, locate desired MP3 file
Right click on the MP3 file
Select send via Bluetooth then select the handset
On the Samsung handset, Accept incoming data from the PC.

There are no configurable options to make the clock display larger on your SGH-T359 (Smiley) handset because it is a default design on the phone that we cannot change or even remove.

Hi!

Are the music file format supported by the phone?
Here are your phone specifications:

Audio
.aac
.mp3
.mid
.wav
.wma
.amr

If the file format of your music file is compatible with your phone but it's not accessible, it could protected by the Digital Rights Management (DRM) which restricts you to open or tranfer the file to a different device.

Hi there.

Thank you for your correspondence. Due to Samsung's policy with repairs, any damage encountered to the phone through water or other liquids can and in most cases will cause corrosion to the inner workings of the handset. In these circumstances, it is no longer feasible to attempt to repair the phone; consequently, the phones received in this condition into our North Texas repair facilities are shipped back to the customer un-repaired. If you have insurance through your service provider please contact them for a possible replacement phone. Also, if you purchased the phone with a credit card most companies offer buyers protection. Contact your Credit Card Company to inquire about this program.

We thank you for your patronage of Samsung products.

Have a great day.

Question

How do I connect the phone to my PC?

I am having trouble connecting the phone to my PC. I have downloaded Samsung New PC Studio, and I have downloaded the USB driver, but I can't get the phone to connect either through USB or Bluetooth. When I try the USB, the phone seems to respond, and I have to select PC studio, but the computer and Studio do not recognize it. And when I try Bluetooth, the phone recognizes my computer, but neither the computer or the Studio does. Thank you for your help.

Question

How good does the Samgung Smiley t359 work?

I am thinking of getting a new phone and the Smiley caught my eye. I have heard positive and negative things about this phone, but mostly positive. I am just wondering if this is a good phone for someone who adores to text and talk to her friends non-stop.

hello, my daughter really likes this phone and it is VERY durable because it has fallen so many times. I was nervous to get her a smartphone since she's lost so many cell phones. However, she's more responsible and this cell has good quality pics and video taking. I just purchased the Samsung Gravity T and it has even better quality. The drawback with the T359 is that the keyboard is small, great for a younger person. The Gravity T or Gravity 3 is the most excellent for texting!! hope this helps

Question

Why is there a 25-message limit to the Message Inbox?

Why do I have to clean out messages from my inbox when I have a micro-SD card for memory? Is there a way to move messages from the phone to the SD card? When I try to move the messages in my Inbox, I am only given the option to save them to MMS, which is always showing too full to use, even when I do delete messages.

The bluetooth connectivity could be better. I have to shut off my phone every day to get it to connect to my bluetooth device.
