answer 2
Thank you for your inquiry.
Hi, there are actually 3 ways or methods on how to download music from your PC to the phone.
The first one would be via PC Studio, it is a software that we developed and you can get this for free on www.samsung.com/us. Once you are on the website, just type the model number of your phone on the search field. And under support and downloads or software just click on the lick to begin downloading of the software. You will be using a USB cable on this method and make sure that the USB mode on your phone is set to Modem. Second method would be via Mass Storage, you will need the USB cable and a micro SD card for this. The USB mode should be set to Mass Storage. And finally is via Bluetooth, you will need to connect your phone to a PC that is Bluetooth compatible as well.
Here let me show you how all the 3 methods works.
New Samsung PC Studio
To transfer MP3 files, from a PC, to the SGH-T359 handset memory follow the steps below:
Plug one end of the data cable into the handset's power/data port located on the left side and the other end into a USB port on the PC
Open the New Samsung PC Studio application
The SGH-T359 icon will now appear in the upper right corner of the display
Double click on the My Computer icon, located in the top left corner
Navigate to and click on any folder that contains the MP3 files to be transferred
Double click on the SGH-T359 icon and ensure that the Music folder contents are shown
Drag n drop or copy and paste the MP3 files from the PC into the handset's Music folder (For multiple files hold down the Crtl key)
In the pop-up window, PC Studio will show the file being transferred
After the MP3 file(s) are transferred, click OK
After the file transfer is complete it is safe to disconnect the data cable from both devices
WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE MP3 FILE TRANSFER
Note: Files transferred with PC Studio 3 are copied directly to the handset's internal memory storage (Music Folder) and not to the memory card if it's present during the transfer.
Note: The instructions below assume a micro SD memory card has previously been inserted as well as formatted by the handset to create the necessary folders
WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE MP3 FILE TRANSFER
To transfer MP3 files, from a PC, to the SGH-T359 handset's memory card follow the steps below:
Plug one end of the data cable into the handset's power/data port located on the left side and the other end into a USB port on the PC
On the PC, open My Computer and double-click on the new Removable Disk (Hint: it will be assigned a drive letter and, depending on system configuration, may not be the only Removable Disk present)
Using Windows Explorer, copy and paste (or drag and drop) MP3 files from the PC into the Music folder located under the new Removable Disk
After the file transfer is complete it is safe to disconnect the data cable from both devices
Bluetooth
Note: Both devices must support Bluetooth FTP (File Transfer Profile)
To transfer MP3 files, from another Bluetooth device to the SGH-T359 handset, via Bluetooth follow the steps below:
Pair the SGH-T359 handset with the other Bluetooth device
Using Windows explorer, locate desired MP3 file
Right click on the MP3 file
Select send via Bluetooth then select the handset
On the Samsung handset, Accept incoming data from the PC.
