Thank you for your inquiry.
Hi, there are actually 3 ways or methods on how to download music from your PC to the phone.
The first one would be via PC Studio, it is a software that we developed and you can get this for free on www.samsung.com/us. Once you are on the website, just type the model number of your phone on the search field. And under support and downloads or software just click on the lick to begin downloading of the software. You will be using a USB cable on this method and make sure that the USB mode on your phone is set to Modem. Second method would be via Mass Storage, you will need the USB cable and a micro SD card for this. The USB mode should be set to Mass Storage. And finally is via Bluetooth, you will need to connect your phone to a PC that is Bluetooth compatible as well.
Here let me show you how all the 3 methods works.
New Samsung PC Studio
To transfer MP3 files, from a PC, to the SGH-T359 handset memory follow the steps below:
Plug one end of the data cable into the handset's power/data port located on the left side and the other end into a USB port on the PC
Open the New Samsung PC Studio application
The SGH-T359 icon will now appear in the upper right corner of the display
Double click on the My Computer icon, located in the top left corner
Navigate to and click on any folder that contains the MP3 files to be transferred
Double click on the SGH-T359 icon and ensure that the Music folder contents are shown
Drag n drop or copy and paste the MP3 files from the PC into the handset's Music folder (For multiple files hold down the Crtl key)
In the pop-up window, PC Studio will show the file being transferred
After the MP3 file(s) are transferred, click OK
After the file transfer is complete it is safe to disconnect the data cable from both devices
WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE MP3 FILE TRANSFER

Note: Files transferred with PC Studio 3 are copied directly to the handset's internal memory storage (Music Folder) and not to the memory card if it's present during the transfer.
Note: The instructions below assume a micro SD memory card has previously been inserted as well as formatted by the handset to create the necessary folders
WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE MP3 FILE TRANSFER
To transfer MP3 files, from a PC, to the SGH-T359 handset's memory card follow the steps below:
Plug one end of the data cable into the handset's power/data port located on the left side and the other end into a USB port on the PC
On the PC, open My Computer and double-click on the new Removable Disk (Hint: it will be assigned a drive letter and, depending on system configuration, may not be the only Removable Disk present)
Using Windows Explorer, copy and paste (or drag and drop) MP3 files from the PC into the Music folder located under the new Removable Disk
After the file transfer is complete it is safe to disconnect the data cable from both devices
Bluetooth
Note: Both devices must support Bluetooth FTP (File Transfer Profile)
To transfer MP3 files, from another Bluetooth device to the SGH-T359 handset, via Bluetooth follow the steps below:
Pair the SGH-T359 handset with the other Bluetooth device
Using Windows explorer, locate desired MP3 file
Right click on the MP3 file
Select send via Bluetooth then select the handset
On the Samsung handset, Accept incoming data from the PC.

Hi slim33,

Thank you for your inquiry.

When the Lock phone setting is enabled, the phone locks automatically when powered on, and you must enter the phone password to use the phone. After entering the correct password, you can use the phone until you power it off.

1. From Idle mode, press Menu -> Settings -> Personalize -> Phone settings -> Security -> Lock phone.
2. Choose Enable to have the phone prompt you for the code when you power on the phone. Choose Disable to have the phone power on with no code required.

My smiley went in water :(

I had to save my son from drowning in a pool 3 days after getting my new phone. I kept it off and dried it out over a week. The screen comes on, the keys light up, but it seems to freeze half way when I try to start it up? What might this be and can I fix it?

When you are looking at the message, lower the volume button on the side of your phone. The font will get smaller.

Thank you for your inquiry.
I read about your concern regarding will any micro sd card fits in your sgh-t359. I have checked my resources & the phone itself, and seems that the sgh-t359 does support the use of a micro sd card.
And so let me give you some details on how to install & what is the maximum capacity size of a micro sd card that you can insert in your phone.

Installing or Removing the Memory Card
Your phone supports an optional memory card (microSD™) for data storage of such things as music, pictures,
video, or other files. This type of memory card is designed for use with this mobile phone and other devices.
1. Use your fingernail to lift the memory card cover, then rotate it downward.
2. Insert the microSD card into the slot (as shown) and push lightly with your thumb or finger until you hear a
light click sound. Ensure the microSD’s gold contact pins face downward and the card is placed so that the
indentations on the card face the same direction as those illustrated.
3. Push the microSD card with your thumb or finger a second time to eject it from the slot.
4. Rotate the memory card cover back to the closed position and press it lightly.

Note: This phone supports memory cards of up to 16 GB capacity.

Question

how can I sync my yahoo calendar to my Samsung Smiley?

PLEASE let me know how to do this. I have a lot of info on my yahoo calendar and I really need to have it all on my phone too. Even if it is just once to put the data in my phone and if I can't continually sync it - I just need my calendar in my phone once so I don't have to manually re-enter itall.

Hi lharry!

This concern for your phone which is synching your Yahoo Calendar to your handset, the available information for now is synching your phone to your computer using the PC STUDIO. No direct synching of your phone to your yahoo calendar, but you can try to ask your current service provider if they can provide you one option to this.

Let me give you the steps for you to connect your phone to your PC.

Ensure that the device in set to communicate with New PC Studio software version 1.4.0 Build IK1 or higher.

On the configuration setting of the phone, follow the steps:

Select Menu > Settings > Personalize (1) > Phone Settings (3) > USB Mode (3) > Samsung PC Studio > Save

Connection to the PC:

1.On PC, launch the New PC Studio application
2.Connect the device to the computer using the USB cable

Greetings!
Pertaining to your query, Sims 3 is not a preloaded game on the phone so I would suggest you to check or browse the internet for the available Sims 3 game compatible for your device.
However, please bear in mind that Samsung does not support 3rd party apps and services with any of our device
If you are having issues with the use of a specific 3rd party application or service, we recommend contacting the manufacturer of that application or service for compatibility and support assistance.
We do appreciate hearing from our customers, as your comments are vital for us to continue improving our products, as well as our business.

It was a pleasure doing business with you.
