my samsung T255G went dead, when I charge it, it says fully charged but it isn't. I have tried to reboot it by taking battery out and reinstalling it but it is still dead. I purchased this phone in July, is it still under warranty?

Hi there.

Thank you for your inquiry. PUK means Pin Unlock Key and it is required to unlock Pin when Pin is entered 3-10 times incorrectly. PUK is saved on the SIM card.
Please contact your service provider to get the PUK.
Note: If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times in a row, your SIM card will be invalidated, and you will need to purchase a new SIM Card. The phone will display the following error: "PUK blocked call operator."

When you dial a number a little speaker will appear on screen above the OK button, then you hit the OK button for speaker phone. (For the Samsung T105G). Then hit it again after your call.

A small speaker icon appears in the bottom middle of the screen after you have placed or received a call. Press the O.K. button to turn the speaker on or off.

Please try the below steps to change or adjust the background color :

In Idle mode, press the Menu > Settings > Display.
• Main Display: Allows you to customize the appearance of your display and menus by making selections in Wallpaper, Idle Screen Display, Main Menu Style and Dialing Display.
• Front Display: Allows you to add a Clock and a Screen Slogan to your front display.
• Light Settings: Allows you to adjust LCD Brightness, Backlight Time and Front LCD Contrast.

Are you asking for the serial code of the phone?

You can find the IMEI as the serial number number at the inner back of the phone or dial *#06# on the dial pad to retrieve the serial number on your phone screen.

What does "HTTP Error: 502, Bad Gateway" mean when trying to access the browser on the Samsung T255G?

Everytime I try to access the browser on my phone, I get an error message that says "HTTP Error: 502, Bad Gateway". I even get this error when trying to retrieve and send pic messages.

"HTTP Error: 502, Bad Gateway" means that a server (not necessarily a Web server) is acting as a gateway or proxy to fulfill the request by the Web browser to access the requested URL, and that server received an invalid response from an upstream server it accessed to fulfill the request. It often means that the phone has been incorrectly or incompletely programmed.

Regarding about your concern, it would be best to contact your Service Provider and ask for the configuration settings for the phone for internet browsing and also for MMS messaging.

There's no audio or voice recorder on your phone as a single application but you can add audio on your messaging and send it to your friends or relatives. You can follow the steps below:

To add audio to your message, press Options ➔ Add and select Record Audio,
Recorded Audio, or Downloaded Tones.

Thank you for your inquiry. You must remove the number on the reject list for you to receive phone calls again from that number. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key, then select Contacts ➔ Reject List to view your list. Press the Options soft key to Edit, Add New or Remove numbers from your list.

The only method to transfer a picture to a PC is to send the picture to an Email address. There are no configurable options available to send a picture from a PC to the phone.

To send a Multimedia Message follow the steps below:

While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
Select Messages
Select Create New
Select Multimedia Message
With Subject highlighted, press the OK key
Enter the Subject text, using the keypad (up to 30 characters), then press the OK button to Save
Highlight Graphic, using the navigation keys, then press the OK key for Add
Select from the following:
Take Picture
Using the display as a viewfinder, press the OK button to take the picture
Press the left soft key to Add the Photo to the Multimedia Message
My Photos
Highlight the desired Photo, using the navigation keys
Press the OK key to Add the Photo to the Multimedia Message
Downloaded Graphics
Highlight the desired image, using the navigation keys
Press the OK Key to Add the image to the Multimedia Message
Highlight Message, using the navigation keys, then press the OK key
Enter the Message text, using the keypad (up to 32 characters) then press OK to Save
Press the right soft key for Send To
Either enter a phone number/E-mail address, using the keypad, or press the left soft key for Options
Select the recipient type from the following:
Contact List
Highlight each Contact, using the navigation keys
Press the OK key to check the Contact's box
After selecting all Contacts, press the left soft key for Add
Group
Highlight a Group, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Select to view the Group members
Highlight a Group Contact, using the navigation keys
Press the OK key to Check the Group Contact's box
After selecting all Group Contacts, press the left soft key for Select
Recent Recipients
Select either Phone Number or E-mail Address
Highlight each phone number or Email address, using the navigation keys
Press the OK key to Check the Recent Recipient's box
After selecting all recipient's, press the left soft key for Add or Select
Common Address
Highlight Contact, using the navigation keys
Press OK key to add the Contact
After selecting all Recipients, press the right soft key to Send the Multimedia Message to the Recipient(s)
Tip: You can send a Multimedia Message to up to 5 Recipients

Note: Although the TracFone SGH-T255 features a camera, there are no configurable options available for recording videos.

Question

I have just bought a Samsung SGHt255G phone. I put in my AT&T Sim card and cannot get the phone to work with my card.

My old Samsung bit the dust today when I crunched it under a tailgate of a truck. I pulled my sim card from my phone and put it into the SGH-T2255G phone and the new phone display says enter sim card on the front face of the phone screen. Inside screen says SIM Lock Code-1. I've tried 4 passwords and am down to just 6 more. I need help!

Regarding to the SIM that you should use for your phone, I highly suggest using the same SIM CARD from the original service provider of the phone.

And for the SIM PASSWORD that the phone is asking for, what we can offer as passcodes would be “0000” or “00000000”. If these codes will not work, then call the Samsung Customer Support Center at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Hi there,

In order to record sounds, from idle mode> go on menu> My folder> Audio> then select Recorded Audio, and then from there you can record your own sound or audio.
